Can anyone tell me what "Ed Milliband offers hope" in the thread title means?
  • , i was part of a YTS system which turned me into an apprentice electrician after leaving school at 16.
Electrician is a good trade, you did ok in the end then

I used to walk to work at 5am across open fields with the cows, shortcut through the coal yard stocking the trains and usually very wet, cold by the time I got there.
It wasnt for any worthwhile trade like that but did I get enough to buy a car and switch to a nicer job at one point

Kenneth Williams was increasingly right on this I reckon

I was a little too young when MP first aired but I have grown up with them and one thing , looking back, is how well "informed" they were at such a relatively young age.

It makes more sense with reflection as you get older.

The Meaning of Life with the hospital administrators only interested in the machine that goes "ping", The Romans, She's a Witch, French taunting and the, I'm your King -well I never voted for you.

  • Long term unemployment predicted to rise...Rachel Reeves says Osborne's 'cunning plan' is choking off the recovery that started under Labour and pushing up long term unemployment so that the recession becomes a vicious circle. He desperately needs to come up with something soon to put the UK back in the game - perhaps Carney will help him out!

It means that the <3,000 views this momentous speech has achieved on YouTube demonstrate that Ed Milliband will be catapulted to power on a wave of popularity second only to Gangnam style. Once there he will talk a good game and carry on in the same clueless bungling style as the current government and the government before that (whose failure he was a part of, demonstating that he is an ineffective fvckwit).

All the tend to do is to disagree with the other parties..

I dont know why they all cant get together, sit down and all agree on something.

Annoys me that they all argue about spending & taxes. Public sector wages increase as everyone wants a pay rise to beat inflation. To fund this, taxes need to go up to fund the funding...

The answer is NO, the other party cant do any better so stop arguring and all agree..

Are you CitK? The banned over and over again poster who simply campaigned for benefits to be given to everyone who merely asked for them without question?

The poster who did, and still does, spread outright lies on benefits discussions and boards, all based on a political agenda?

Seriously Graham follow your own advice and don't encourage them. There's an ignore option on here for a reason; it has made it infinitely better for me. The only thing I wish they'd do is let me ignore posts replying to people I ignore, then it'd really be like they didn't exist anymore.
