Can you link us to that page please?

I would be interested to see this. We have confirmed it is NOT an unsolicited gift as he had ordered from the company, so I fail to see that this can be true...

Indeed. I've just had a shifty and can't see anything relevant which is why I'm asking.

    Enlighten us please vinie.

If you've already read it after being referred as you say, you should be able to tell us?

Haven't sold it, I exchanged it, most of the points made are valid..but some are being provocative for self satisfaction related issues.. They didn't contact me for 10days .... The thing is I may have committed an act of theift by the letter according to law not being aware it is theift by the letter!! I seeked advice from people who are quite intelligent and they referred me to the citizen advice berous page where it says I don't have to give it back..and it's illegal to threaten me with legal action..
For the exception of a few this place seem have a concentration of preaching anal personalities.. And they probably know it.. The only place they can get away with being as anal as they are is in a place like this.. This will get sorted one way or another but they are stuck with how they are.. God help them and their close ones if any.
I have unsubscribed.. Mummble and gable or whatever all u like :D
Its no skin of my nose, thx fir the ones who put things into prospective in a civilized manner. Take care

I didn't say sold for money. An exchange with a friend is selling it for goods or services. Just like my dad does a building job for a friend who then pays him by offering dental treatment. It's just cutting out the money.

I'm clueless about law however i know it operates according to logic, in terms of contract you are right, i never got my item thats one contract but i did not make any contract for the second item.

But you did form a contract with them - an unsolicited good is when something is received 'out of the blue' - this wasn't.

And I bet we'd have had a totally different set of posts from you had you ordered an expensive item but received a cheaper one.

    Hmm...

I think this one has run its course.
