Guys why don't u start a new church that has a membership fee and donates money to banks ?
And why don't you try and sort out this mess you've gotten yourself into instead of spending time on here trying to insult people when really all you're doing is making sure everyone knows how much of a muppet you are.
You posed a question and asked for answers. Perhaps next time you should stipulate "I only want answers that say i'm not liable - even if the law states otherwise".
If you're not prepared to receive an answer you dont like, dont ask the flipping question. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
That's honest, my hat off to u.. In relation to this case, u gave me five pounds and left 2weeks later u come back and say i stole it!! No I didn't u gave it and left and sorry but i really don't have it and I didnt steal it from ur pocket. It's simple if u expected it right then and I had a chance to give u the change while u stood there ( I had a box to open) .. Also u had 2 pounds in change yet u gave me 5 and took off for 2 weeks..
So sayyou owed me £5 and you meant to hand me a fiver but actually gave me £50, in an envelope, via a friend. I go 'yay, what a lucky mistake!' and spend it all. Would you not want it back?0 -
I have not insulted anyone who hasn't insulted me.. The word theif is a big word and if someone said it to my face ( won't post anything threatening ) but i would retaliate) for those who were polite and non inflammatory with their reply I thank you.
What they delivered to me was a speciality tool it's like a ferrari car delivered to an f1 driver.. No way he wouldn't take it for a spin then park it outside his house till it gets asked for.. Maybe I shouldn't have exchanged it for something not sellable but I done so as I like Lamborghini more than ferraris even if its damaged. I made a mistake but so did they.
plz restrain from being stupid and inflammatory with ur replies.. And I'll let u know what happens for those who r interested.
By stupid I don't mean don't tell me what's ur take on it but don't be a troll using uneccicary adjectives.. Thx0 -
Vinie, have you contacted them yet?0

To the OP:
1. You purchased an item and paid for it.
2. The company mistakenly sent you another item.
3. They realised their mistake and have asked for it back.
4. The item is not, and never was, yours.0 -

No one has dragged you to any level. You are doing your best to legitimise being a thief, albeit an 'accidental thief'. No more, no less. Calling people names is not going to help. You know what the right thing to do is (I would hope) but seem unwilling to do it. You came here asking for advice, you got sound advice but don’t want to take it.0

I probably can think of a few things that can fit ur head.. one of which is something made from rubber and its for protection..
hate how some people drag u into this level..
The fact is though that what you have done can be seen as theft. You have given away somebody's property and permanently deprived the owner or the person with rightful possession of that property. Therefore by the letter you have stolen it.
However, it is highly unlikely any criminal action would be brought against you, it is likely to be seen as a civil issue.0
