Well fantastic news today. Tomorrow morning I pick up our dog
it will be so lovely to have him back, there have been times these last two weeks when I really wasn't sure he would come home ever.
Tonight I have sorted through the DVDs and eBay listing awaits. Have to watch Silent Witness first though my favourite
Is eBay the best place to sell an iPhone? Going to get rid of mine and take advantage of my free upgrade they seem to fetch reasonable prices so that will be helpful. I also heard back from eBay about the buyer who had bought 3 CDs off me on eBay and was trying to say they hadn't received two of them and wanted a refund! I had posted all three in the same parcel:eek: Anyway ebay found in my favour so no refund

Julie so pleased you dog is ok and coming home, I read your posts yesterday and been thinking about him today.
I would have a look at the ebay board to make sure you cover yourself before listing your iphone.
Glad things are looking up x0 -

Is eBay the best place to sell an iPhone?
Great news about the dog :j I bet you can't wait.
I sold my old iPhone (3GS) last year for £130. Just make sure you are honest about any scratches etc and include lots of photos. I started mine at 99p but put a reserve of about £65 on it. Straight away I got 2 separate offers of £90 for it but was so glad I stuck to my guns and waited for the listing to end. It was so exciting in the last hour watching all the bids come in.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Time to update. I have had a lovely weekend. Friday I picked up my little dog from the vet. I'm so pleased to have him home. Will have cost me close on £2,500 on top of the insurance but I've paid £2k with money I got from selling my jewellery so just have to find the rest now.
Extra work this weekend didn't happen but I did spend Friday night listing DVDs I want to get rid of on eBay.
Saturday night I was invited out clubbing with some friends. I wasn't keen on going at first but offered to drive. So they all gave me petrol money, I drank water all night (free) and we got on the guest list so entry was free tooHad a lovely night. I think the funniest part was In the queue waiting to go in. Door staff were asking for ID as usual. As I always take a small bag I generally just put a few £ in a purse and grab my driving licence out of my normal purse. Well I was rushing when I did that and when I went to pull my driving licence out of my purse at the club I found my Boots advantage card instead! The back of it was pale pink just like my driving licence
Luckily the doorman saw the funny side of it! Think it made his night he was laughing so much!
Today I went to my parents for dinner watched the rugby and picked my boys up.
Now getting organised for the week ahead. Feelin totally shattered today. Yesterday was busy had to go to Kent then back to pick the boys up before taking the dog for a blood test. His creatinine levels are up slightly as is his white blood count. Too early to say for sure whether he is going to have permanent kidney damage. They have given him some antibiotics as he may have an infection but just have to wait and see.
I was going to start back doing my exercise tonight but I'm feeling so tired and a little bit stuffed from pancakes
I still haven't received any money from the CSA! I did phone them and they couldn't really give any explanation but just said they are on top of it. I know it's not much but it would all help.
On the plus side the sales figures are in for the end Dec (I know a bit late coming through!) I'm 111% of target so some bonus which should hopefully be paid at the end of this month!
We haven't even been given our targets for this year yet which is really frustrating as already a month and a half in with no idea of what I have to aim for

So today is the day of the month I like! Generally it's is the day where I look at my bank account and think "damn no money left at all and still nearly two weeks to payday." Well I have £150 left plus the child benefit will be in next week too
Budgeting is obviously going well.
Also today is the day when I check my mortgage balance. Even when things are bad and money is really tight I console myself with another chunk paid off my mortgage. So today the balance is £180,983.74Now I know to most people that wouldn't be good news but to me it gives me a reminder of how well I have managed over the last 4years and 5 months since my ex walked out and left me with my then just coming up to 3 DS1 and three weeks off being born DS2. My mortgage then stood at just short of £237K  Also had debts then a car loan, another loan and a credit card of nearly £10k Total was probably about £30K and I had stupidly put them in my name
So although my debts are higher than that now in total things are better and I've done it on my own
Another bit of good news is I've received my first £10 from the CSA not bad for two years maintenance for two children! I've made an extra payment off my card today of £20.
Back to work I suppose! This money isn't going to earn itselfMBNA [STRIKE]£2,029[/STRIKE] £1,145 Virgin [STRIKE]£8,712[/STRIKE] £7,957 Sainsbury [STRIKE]£6,870[/STRIKE] £5,575 M&S [STRIKE]£10,016[/STRIKE] £9,690 Barclaycard [STRIKE]£11,951[/STRIKE] £11,628 CTC [STRIKE]£7,629[/STRIKE] £6,789 Mortgage £[STRIKE]182,828[/STRIKE] £171,670

Well I've had a busy (and cheap) weekend
. I was due to take DS2 to a birthday party on Saturday morning at a local play zone type area. Had no alternative for DS1 so I was going to have to take him which I would have had to pay for. Unfortunately (although has its plus side) DS2 had a hacking cough and was really under the weather on Saturday so we didn't go to the party. Probably saved me £7, plus I might keep the present for the next party (would that be wrong? Can't use the card as I'd written in it the night before)
Instead we did some baking at home, all things we had in the cupboard. Then went to my parents for dinner and stayed for tea!
It was a lovely day on Sunday so we all did some garden tidying up. Then my mum phoned and said as she was doing a roast did we want to come round for lunchIn the afternoon we made some peppermint creams and some more cakes. As its half-term this week they can go in lunch boxes.
DS1 is off to Chelsea football training for the first two days this week and DS2 is at my parents today. Unfortunately tomorrow I will need to pay a childminder to have DS2 and also pick up DS1 from football as I am busy at work and have a team meeting which is scheduled to finish at 5 and I will then have a good hours journey home
For the remainder of the week they will be going to their dads. He owes me as he went off for 8 weeks over December and January! Plus as he doesn't have a job it's not as though he has anything better to do with his time!
I'm going to be doing some extra work this week too, so hopefully Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening!
Sold a few DVDs over the weekend, not huge amounts but it all helps.
Ok that's the lunchtime update (oh the doggy is doing great now so happy days there)MBNA [STRIKE]£2,029[/STRIKE] £1,145 Virgin [STRIKE]£8,712[/STRIKE] £7,957 Sainsbury [STRIKE]£6,870[/STRIKE] £5,575 M&S [STRIKE]£10,016[/STRIKE] £9,690 Barclaycard [STRIKE]£11,951[/STRIKE] £11,628 CTC [STRIKE]£7,629[/STRIKE] £6,789 Mortgage £[STRIKE]182,828[/STRIKE] £171,670

You're doing so well and we have a couple of things in common - I was left on my own 3 weeks before my dd was born and today I have worked out that I am still well in credit and it's payday on Friday!
