Felt a bit poorly yesterday so abandoned decluttering. But the weather forecast today is rain so ideal decluttering weather.
I plan a mad half hour in each of the really cluttered rooms today :j

Well, I did better than that: I spent 5 HOURS moving stuff from the spare bedroom into the little boxroom bedroom. All my craft stuff, the drawer unit and cupboards it was in.... took me so long because I had to empty all the furniture of the stuff to move the furniture.... then I had a good thorough sort out of what was going back in them. So....
179 Dried lavender that had got damp and smelled revolting
180 Waterproof sheet from cot
181 Lampshade frame
182-210 29 pieces of fabric - some pieces were 2/3/4 yards long
211 10 fat quarters of fabric
212 1 doll's travel cot
213-216 4 craft books
217-218 2 magazines
219 2 balls wool
220 Bag of glittery pom poms
221 Pack of white card
223 Metal templates/stencils
224 Cropodile (eyelet maker and inserter)
225 Rag run making tools
226 Empty Christmas biscuit tin
227 Setting mats for eyelets
228 2 packs of 5 gift boxes
229 America's National Parks scrapbook kit
230-244 15 more items of my summer clothes put into loft
245 Used book of raffle tickets (only a couple of pages left)
246 Pack of stickers that have lost their stickiness
247 Lino sample tiles
248 Scrapbook
249 Towel that has a big hole in the middle
250 Satin covered box that I kept old greetings cards in
251 Coin album
252 Craft bag
253-265 13 ink pads for rubber stamping
266-269 4 packs of rubber stamps
270 Box of bits associated with stamping
271 Hot air gun for rubber stamping
272 2 pots of beads
273 2 empty cardboard boxes
274 Dolls House Emporium OOD catalogue
This has taken me most of today but it looks lovely and tidy now.
I've got a friend coming round Monday morning for a look at the fabric, hopefully another friend will take the craft bits to the hospital she works at. It's amazing how much stuff I actually have that I don't use. It doesn't make me happy, and I don't use it, so why is it so hard to part with it all?Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Well done loopy and TF! :T :T :T
I've found the same when going through my craft bits too. Going to have a pamper session to see what toiletries I can use up

Sorted through Xmas decorations. I'm giving a spare tree and decorations to a friend. I don't need two trees anymore. I'm going for simplicity from now on.
So counted up the tree, tinsel and decorations. Much of which I'd bought from charity shops. The total came to 47 things! And I know there's probably more in the cupboard. Just need to bring out the rest of the tree pieces then we can drop it round.
Plus I found some decorations I thought I'd lost :j
Need to be up to 320 items today to get back on target :jDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Made a start on clearing out a chest of drawers in the spare bedroom.
Filled about half a black bag with stuff. Which will be binned. And 2 picture frames will go to chartity shop0 -
Sorted out hats, gloves, scarves for the whole family, donated a bagfull for charity shop. There were some odd gloves.
Threw away some christmas bits, paper, cards etc that I haven't used up over the years, they were past their best.
Slung a few paperbacks.
Still skirting round the main clothes issue.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

I just want to say a great big:dance:THANK YOU:dance:
To everyone on this thread for giving me the encouragement and motivation to start decluttering my home. In one afternoon we managed to clear out the dining room which has been hanging over my head for months. Today I started to paint it ready to turn it into a nursery for our new baby.
Clearing my home has made me fall in love with it all over again and we have discovered some long hidden treasures that we are able to enjoy once more. Selling some bits and pieces will also help us financially.
I really can't thank you all enough :TTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0
