I have been working incredibly hard today :D so far I have cleared out:
    • Loads of packaging (where does it all come from??)
    • Old car seat
    • Glass shelf
    • Mirrored tiles
    • Plasterboard
    • Bits of wood
    • Baking things
    • Pet leads
    • Old wallet
    • Light shade
    • Biscuit tin
    • Shower curtain and rings

Now I am having a well deserved cuppa before taking some bits to the charity shop and then going on a run to the dump :D

I need to do a manic half hour of decluttering today. Who's up for spending just 30 minutes today (eg 1x30, 2x 15 or 3x 10)?

And then report back here what we've decluttered, whether a drawer or cupboard etc :j
    230. Toiletry. Charity shop
    231. 232. 233. 234. Magazines
    235. Bunch of receipts
    236. Bag of rubbish
    237. Work stuff, in a bag ready to return

About 15 minutes sorting a bag of bagged up clutter :j

Need to be up to 288!!

    Great stuff Rummer:j
Lots of bits on their way to other homes there mrsm :j
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!"
Less things. Less stuff. More life.

    • Toilet Brush holder
    • Bathroom bin
    • Curtains
    • Placemats
    • Large wooden bowl
    • Table runner
    • More random bits of wood
    • More packaging
    • DVD box sets
    • 2 x fitness DVDs
    • Pile of computer games
    • Selection of cookery books

Yep, count me in.... won't be until later this evening though.

    So far today:

176-177. 2 fleeces sewn as backing to lounge curtains
    178. Bags of coin banked at Nationwide
These have been in a wardrobe since last winter.... at last I have got a round tuit!!! (Just need to do the other end of the lounge's curtains now, but hey, I'm not one to rush things!).

Today has been more of a 'doing' day than a decluttering day; we took the fabric recycling to the local recycling, a bag to a charity shop, and banked loads of bags of coin from collecting tins.

I'll report back later after my mad half hour!!!

Well done mrsm and Rummer :T :T Brilliant!

Loopy - How about just 5 mins today during a TV ad break? :j

Felt a bit poorly yesterday so abandoned decluttering. But the weather forecast today is rain so ideal decluttering weather.

I plan a mad half hour in each of the really cluttered rooms today :j

  • Have been slack/busy for a few days but have a time slot free tomorrow to tackle some clutter.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
