Been mentally planning what I will clear out tomorrow :rotfl: Too tired to do it atm however I am going to make sure I get a wee half hour done a day over the next week. Need to rustle up some bags from somewhere so that I can take things to the charity shop. I should have thought that through before I recycled all the plastic bags :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Yesterday was a good day,not a huge amount was done,but what a difference.

In my tiny kitchen,I have a freestanding metal storage unit, crammed in between my linen cupboard (the only space I have for it) and a radiator.I also have a large wicker basket, full of various sturdy shopping bags.I pulled everything out, cleaned the floor area, and re-arranged various items on the storage unit.I sorted out the height of various shelves,as I store pan lids there too,to make them more accessible.Quite a few things I have put down in my cellar space, including most of the shopping bags and the wicker basket.Things are a lot less cramped, which makes such a difference.

Today's plan is simply to do the ironing and put it all away,so less clutter.:)
  • Loads of old cardboard boxes to recycling at the tip. Old carpet remnant from loft to tip. Bought some plate racks for kitchen cupboard to create more space. They are great and make the most of the dead space in deep shelves.

    134. Magazine. Neighbour

Decluttered lots of bits at work too. This helps create normality around working in clutter free spaces. Won't count those bits but felt loads better

Right, so a quick nap then a look at my declutter plan

Right I have finally started the big declutter! So far it is mainly rubbish and packaging that I have thrown out from the renovations.

Next I am clearing out towels, where is the best place to take them? Animal shelter
    Charity shop
    Clothing bank

I also have some light shades and other bits and pieces that I am going to put in bags for going to the charity shop. There is also some paint that needs to go so I will list that on free cycle.

The next time I will post it will be to tell you what has actually physically left the house :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

R - if in ok condition the CS will welcome the towels. Or if well worn then an animal shelter or Freecycle.
    :T

Ok so the declutter plan is now moving into the worst affected areas. So to begin with I'll aim to declutter/recycle/charity 10 things from each room.

Then I will have to bag/box up the floor. Stuff is everywhere

But I feel unwell, think that being surrounded by flu ridden people has caught up with me. Going to declutter 10 things now
    :j

    Update:
    135. Cat food packaging
    136. 137. 138. Parcel packaging/plastic envelopes
    139. Plastic travel bottle, no top
    140. Medicine packaging
    141. Bits of plastic and bubble wrap
    142. 143. Bags of rubbish
    144. OOD food
    145. Old dog bowl

These are the AWFUL MESSY DISGUSTING rooms!
