    48. Make up (sealed) unused for a friend
    49. Photo frame which hubby took an instant dislike too. And I must admit it looks a little tacky so it's off to charity.

Right I have an appointment with the Pyrex cupboard now! :j
    50. 51. White oven dishes (charity)
    52. Odd saucepan lid
    53. OOD oil spray
    54. Mug (charity)
    55. Used padded envelopes used up to wrap charity bits

Going to sort through a drawer later which holds things like light bulbs.
Then give the kitchen a clean :o

one of my downfalls is 'seige mentality' shopping if something is cheap i buy loads, without stopping to think how long it will take to use up and even if it will actually be popular!

ive got a handle on the toiletry and make up purchases so am slowly working through those but the food and cleaning product cupboards are rammed. i need to get a grip on meal planning etc. i think if i could seriously do that we could go about 6 months with only buying bread and fresh fruit veg and milk

  • Tidied the DVD shelf and will sell a few online. Others went in the CS pile which is now HUGE. Luckily a BHF bag came through the door today...excellent timing (for them and me:j).
Some postcards and a postcard album to the CS pile.

    I'm getting addicted to decluttering.

Hello everyone, good to see everyone is still actively decluttering.

I got back from my holiday on Tuesday, and I'm still working my way through the ironing, but my mind is returning to decluttering, and I've already got a few things in mind that will go very soon.

I didn't bring back any weird souvenirs from my holiday, so I won't have to declutter them in a few years time ! I've just bought back memories, photos, and chocolates, which will get eaten soon.

I'll be interested so see how the declutter 500 items in October challenge goes. I've found having a numerical target has kept me focused throughout the year, so it is a good way to achieve your decluttering aims.
