We booked Butlins (minehead) last year and standard accommodation was fine. they wanted £35, I think, to upgrade to silver.
Have just booked again this year, when invoice comes through I'll call up and get ground floor as my daughter uses a wheelchair and get rid of the linen charge. Can't wait!
Although I have been good this time and only booked 1 holiday - last year I booked 3, Butlins, then a 4 followed by 3 night in two places in Cornwall for a weeks holiday.0 -
Has somebody ever tried to book then add a pet? I know that in the T&Cs no pet are allowed but most of the parks involved in the promotion do accept dogs... I would like to book a short break but cannot do so if we can't take the dog with us, and I obviously don't want to pay for nothing .... Any advice will be welcome.A friend is a present which you give yourself (R.Stevenson)

We got an upgrade in October there, had booked £18 per person caravan and paid 35 to get a new van with central heating direct with the park,. Upgrade price depends on what you paid at the start, always better and cheaper contacting the park and upgrading... I would say it was really cold in October and glad we upgraded.0

I have booked to go to Butlins in Skegness, it looks like you can also book there with the Sun £9.50 deal. I paid £15 per person with the Mail, would it of been cheaper doing the £9.50 deal?0

You need to book a standard or standard plus as they are the only onces which allow you to take dogs. When you get your booking reference call the park and they will try and allocate you a pet van - most parks are £20 per dog. I rang the park and as soon as rhey get my paperwork back they are going to call so I can add the dogs.
Hope that helps :-)Back and on a mission:cool:0 -

It depends on the accommodation, I only paid £10pp as got Standard accommodation, but I am guessing there is now limited availability so less choice of options available.0 -

Thank you for the advice. I booked Littlesea for May Bank Hols..as it is a Standard one I hope it will be warm!! I have phoned the park but need to phone back once I have the Haven booking ref (not the Breakfree one) but she said that it shouldn't be a problem ... Never been to Littlesea so hopefully there's plenty to do there with kids and dog!!1;)A friend is a present which you give yourself (R.Stevenson)

Littlesea is a nice little park. plenty of country walks for you and your dog.
There is a regular bus service to Weymouth for the beach too.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!

Hi,
Thanks to all for the codes.
Booked Hafan Y Mor for the May Bank Holiday Weekend. Should be good fun as 9 of us going in total. I paid £42.95 for 4.

Sally.
I went to Hafan Y Mor in May last year on the same offer, and really enjoyed it. I only paid for Standard, but was put in one of the chalet blocks when I checked in, close to the sea. Chalet blocks looked a bit tatty from the outside but were clean and tidy inside. Staff very friendly and helpful, too.
There's lots to see and do on the Llyn Peninsula, and hardly any tourists too.
