Hope you get the online items you wanted.
I don't risk the website for that reason - don't envy those that waited up all night and run the risk of their order not being fullfilled.

Still sounds like you got a nice little haul at least :T

Thanks Africat :) it is the first time we have tried the website as we know it doesn't work well. We don't mind if our whole online order gets cancelled as we are more than happy with what we bought today instore. We are very lucky, even if I did almost get knocked over by some rude woman in the process!

Hi all, Just got an email from David Kenny at boots customer care ordered online this morning and am now being told when order reached warehouse all not all products were available and they would let me know what or if they could send anything. Has this happened to anyone else. P.s ordered at 5.46 this morning. :(

My local seemed much busier than last year, quite a few outside by the time the doors opened and everyone legging it to the shelves. There did seem to be less stock than last year but again there were people just buying bags and bags of stuff. Managed to get two med sized sanctury sets that I wanted (actually they are a bit disappointing and deff wouldn't have paid full price for them) and some glitter babes stuff for some girls I buy for. Also a S&G set for me, although at 10.50 I'm still not sure it's worth it, I only really wanted the scrub, that is £8 normally, would use the body wash and prob the hand cream but not really all that much of a bargain so might go back.

I do find that when you take the packaging away from some of the gift there isn't actually that much to show for your money!

The mens FCUK gloves set for example - could have fit in a box half the size!
Really liked the Sanctuary Tin and did get it on offer of the week but there wasn't that much in it really - would never dream of paying the supposedly £40 rrp.

    :)
  • how much did everyone spend today then lol

£70 - paid with points :money:
  • Praise hello kitty! I got one of the

"The response to our 70% off sale has been phenomenal and because of this some of the items you have ordered were unfortunately out of stock when your order reached our warehouse. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause." emails!

after going a little crazy I spent £100 today!!! I am quite happy to get some of that money back.

I did two online orders and got a nice selection from a store close to work, which had the Soap and Glory I was after. It was all very civilised, just three of us waiting at the door, 10 mins before opening, then about a total of 8 when it opened. No running, no screeching or squashing, just a few of us mingling in the sales section.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.
  • I got a few bits and am happy enough but like some of you was disgusted by the number of people stood guarding large amounts of bags full of stuff. I too thought it totally selfish. The shelves at my Boots were almost empty by 9.30. Really think Boots should think about imposing a limit to the number of bags you can fill.

The total spend amount would be fairer IMO, some items are very bulky so would easily take up a bag. Dear Boots, I propose £100 spend per person.
