I know the sale starts immediately after Xmas but I think it's a couple of weeks after before it goes on 75%

It's not Christmas until the Boots 75% off sale is posted about/thread revived on MSE. I predict 10 pages of "does anyone know when it starts?" before we get to Christmas Eve. :rotfl:

Oh gawd, not until after the 50% sale, which hasn't started yet, and likely not until mid to end of Jan. Oh and it was 70% last year not 75% and frankly not really that great. I most certainly did not need a S&G set I treated myself to, that goodness I paid with points.

Its just as bad to be honest. People turn up with suitcases and just sweep the shelves clear and then its all on ebay within hours.

People grab things out of your bakset and push and shove you aside for the popular things.

I don't get people putting things on ebay, most things from boots are heavy to post and I'd be surprised if they manage to make much out of them at car boot sales judging by what people pay for things at my local one.

I did go last year, got a couole of nice bits for specific people and a S&G set for myself as a treat but it was stupidly manic with people just grabbing anything like greedy animals and not sure I'll bother this year.

Got some coupons in the post from Boots today! Double points and points boosters. Looking forward to the sale to use them!


The 3 stores I've been to haven't been bad with people pushing. everyone stands around before, chatting and being friendly, then we rush in. But no stampede or suitcases... So far anyways!


Hoping it to be next week, but booked both next and week after off just in case!

went into my Boots today and the assistant had not heard when it is yet. She agreed it is normally a Wednesday and is likely to be next week, so fingers crossed the big sale is the 14th - though this is pure guesswork. As soon as anyone knows properly please post....
