Wednesday lunchtime the main Boots branch in Nottingham city centre was crowded. I'd been in the opticians section and came down the escalator by the 70% off area, it was a writing mass of people, arms everywhere and the noise.

It was like sharks in a feeding frenzy.

Apparently it got so bad that security had to be called in, and for the staff to restock the aisles, closed off.

It really was dangerous.

i returned a couple of items this morning to the Vic centre - the SA that did the refund for me was going to take them down to the sale aisles, where she said they would be snatched from her hands (they were S&G sets).

Still 4 aisles of stuff left in Vic centre today mid-morning, but I'm so glad I gave it a miss completely on Wednesday.

I took a few bits back that my Mum bought at 50% off which were still available at 70% so bought again & took the first lot back :rotfl:

Whoever bought them will have fell lucky :T
