In store everything is still green stickered as you'd expect but signs are up advising the Xmas 3 4 2 has ended.

In my local store, we went in the day after Boxing day and people were panic buying, I ended up using vouchers and points which i normally use at 75%, in my opinion there was less stock when I went on that there was on 75% day this year.

The cashier said they doubt anything would be left for 75% - but if there is one on, I'm going.... usually the 4th wed after xmas - 25th Jan - but who knows ... x

Popped in for the first time last year, got a few bits, some my DM friend bought off me (at the price I paid) and I'm still working my way through my S&G set :rotfl: prob have got the monies worth I paid for it, but not fussed about another this year.

Couple of bits I'd quite like this time round but not going to get hopes up, or into any silly scrambles, food items are too short for next year, and there'll be plenty of other glitches and bargains in the year hopefully.

I'm assuming that the 2014 Boots 75% off sale starts Wed 15th Jan.

Can't see a lot selling at 50% off when it was 3 for 2 anyway so theoretically 33% off when at full price.

Yes assuming so too....

The 50% sale is more like a 25% sale assuming you buy 3 items at the same price eg: £10.00 each
(so £20.00 total / 3 = £6.66 each)

Price after Christmas at 50% off £5.00 each = saving of £1.66 per item and no Christmas bonus points.

No wonder people wait for 75% day :T

Not everyone gets 3+ items and some of us are very happy with 50% off the few things we do buy thank you very much!

I agree. This year I decided to buy the things I really wanted in the 50% sale, rather than get caught up in the 75% frenzy and end up buying things just because they are cheap. I bought quite a bit last year and some of the scents had "gone off" by the time I came to use them later on in the year.

In my local Boots the 75% sale is usually full of body/bath gift sets. I already have enough for a while (got the Soap & Glory Yule Monty set) and have decided not to buy any as gifts so will be giving the 75% sale a miss this year. Good luck though to those who do decide to go for it!

They told me the same last year, yet when I went in the night before there was staff bringing out trollies filled with more stuff, think someone is telling porkies to get it all sold

I have been in two stores in the last few days - Telford Forge Retail Park has tons of everything while Wolverhampton (Bentley Bridge branch) has hardly anything on the shelves!
