1 NSD for me for yesterday :j

I know it was a bit of easy one but I'm happy to have made a start.

Having a good day today, spare room de-junked, trip to the tip over, second batch of home-made soup currently bubbling away and no money spent so far :D

Afternoon! Thanks for the warm welcome yesterday. :D
My first NSD is going well so far. I have been taking the decorations down, sorting out the baby room, and organising things for rubbish/recycling/charity/selling. Living room looks tidy now, rather than the Post-Christmas chaos!

Slightly worried that we don't have anything in the house for dinner, but I'll put together some bits and hopefully make a meal of some sort!

Hi Everyone and Happy New Year

Looking forward to a better 2013. Had slight trauma at end of 2012 (continuing on from the rest of the year really, but slightly unexpected), came in on Sunday lunchtime to find OH collapsed on sofa semi conscious and struggling to breathe, - he had lung cancer surgery earlier in year - sat him up ( doing my back in again ) and called amb folk etc, spent rest of day in A&E, followed by next day visiting hosp, finally diagnosed with viral infection + gall stone. :( Released with medications and is doing well, though I worry about leaving him, and keep having to phone to checkhe is Ok.:T

Positive news that its not a re-occurence of the cancer,:j but he's very down as chances of him getting back to work seem to be getting slimmer by the day, and while we need the money - and we REALLY - need the money, its as much about him doing something positive, he's always worked and while he 'does' around the house, its not how he wants to spend his time. Not being able to be a provider and not working is probably going to be his downfall anyway. Not happy times here but I'm hopeful its going to improve somehow, I just don't know how yet.

Sorry moan over, and finally positive note

    NSD 1 today

Big ((((hugs)))).I hope that things improve for you both very soon.

Is it too late for me to join please? I'm new to the NSD idea so I think I'll aim for what seems to be easily acheivable with some thought (In my head at least!) target of 10 please.

Hiya, I'm determined to actually achieve my target this month!!! I have missed out slightly over November and December but this month will be the one for me :)

My target is 10 NSDs, and I can already declare one!

Another warm welcome to you both :T

You are on the front page - Good Luck :)

It wasn't a NSD today. I bought a new file for this year's paperwork. I was going to recycle the one from last year, but decided to bin it after it bit me and forced me to wear a blue plaster all day!

  • It's official 1 NSD!
  • Hey,
I think I'm safe to declare nsd 2 now for today. I've not really been anywhere or done anything much. I've done a bit of schoolwork, the bare minimum of housework and am trying to talk myself into taking the Christmas decorations down (although I feel a bit miserable when I do that).
Still have another 27 Chemistry books to mark before school on Monday, which doesn't sound like much but I reckon is at least 3 hours work. :(

Hi again, I'd like to try for 18 NSDs this month please.

So far I can declare NSD 1 for yesterday. As I haven't seen my mum since before Crimbo she wanted to pop to another town to go shopping today, I spent less than £15, got some bargains and chose not to buy a few things as I really didn't need them, so not too unhappy with that for a spending "spree". :)
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

    Ta da!!!

    NSD no 1 today :j:j
Have spent the day lesson planning (I'm a teacher), cleaning the house and dog walking. Left my purse in the house when out and I'm making tea from bits in the fridge.

If you counted the last 2 days of December that 3 out of 4 NSDs for me - unheard of!!!:rotfl:
