    Some great totals

Did chris manage to be debt free in 2012 then?
    Indeed beanie:D

Hmmm.... looking at chris's signature I think he might have done it... if so that definitely calls for a celebration:j:j

Yes, as planned I paid off my last debt on 31/12/12! :j Thanks beanie and spoon! :D I suppose I ought to head over to the Roll of Honour thread! :money:

Unfortunately, yesterday was a spend day and a food shop is soon due, so I might be a NSD slow starter this month. :(

Have a great 2013 everyone and good luck catching those NSDs! chicken1.gif

Can I join in the challenge too please, thinking about it I think I can realistically aim for 10 NSD's this month or at least thats what I'm going to try for. I really do need to cut down on my spending.

Hi Everyone and Happy New Year

Looking forward to a better 2013. Had slight trauma at end of 2012 (continuing on from the rest of the year really, but slightly unexpected), came in on Sunday lunchtime to find OH collapsed on sofa semi conscious and struggling to breathe, - he had lung cancer surgery earlier in year - sat him up ( doing my back in again ) and called amb folk etc, spent rest of day in A&E, followed by next day visiting hosp, finally diagnosed with viral infection + gall stone. :( Released with medications and is doing well, though I worry about leaving him, and keep having to phone to checkhe is Ok.:T

Positive news that its not a re-occurence of the cancer,:j but he's very down as chances of him getting back to work seem to be getting slimmer by the day, and while we need the money - and we REALLY - need the money, its as much about him doing something positive, he's always worked and while he 'does' around the house, its not how he wants to spend his time. Not being able to be a provider and not working is probably going to be his downfall anyway. Not happy times here but I'm hopeful its going to improve somehow, I just don't know how yet.

Sorry moan over, and finally positive note

    NSD 1 today

Here's hoping 2013 is a positive year for you both and lots of strength to your OH *hug*

Today will be a spend day as we need to buy some paint (we need to leave the house exactly as we found it, which means painting everything magnolia, we've lived here over 5 years so there's a lot of painting to be done and picture hook holes to fill etc)
I will also pop some cheques into the bank to get them clearing, and then get on with sorting some more rooms in the house ( along with posting some of the things We're selling on our local Facebook pages)

Yesterday was really productive and I am determined to keep it up. We don't love until march but if I can get most of the house decluttered and organised before the packing starts in Ernest then it will be much more enjoyable ( I love packing anyway ;) )
