Hi Everyone and Happy New Year
Looking forward to a better 2013. Had slight trauma at end of 2012 (continuing on from the rest of the year really, but slightly unexpected), came in on Sunday lunchtime to find OH collapsed on sofa semi conscious and struggling to breathe, - he had lung cancer surgery earlier in year - sat him up ( doing my back in again ) and called amb folk etc, spent rest of day in A&E, followed by next day visiting hosp, finally diagnosed with viral infection + gall stone.Released with medications and is doing well, though I worry about leaving him, and keep having to phone to checkhe is Ok.:T
Positive news that its not a re-occurence of the cancer,:j but he's very down as chances of him getting back to work seem to be getting slimmer by the day, and while we need the money - and we REALLY - need the money, its as much about him doing something positive, he's always worked and while he 'does' around the house, its not how he wants to spend his time. Not being able to be a provider and not working is probably going to be his downfall anyway. Not happy times here but I'm hopeful its going to improve somehow, I just don't know how yet.
Sorry moan over, and finally positive note
NSD 1 today :wave:Debt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

sazzie 23 my thoughts are with you both at this worrying time and wish your oh a speedy recovery. my oh had a heart attack a few years ago and i remember all the worry and stress about his health and then finances and everything else and then when i went to work i was worrying about leaving him. then if i rang him and he didnt answer i used to panic he has recovered well but has had other issues along the way which causes me stress
hoping for a NSD here but have to go out later so will confirm this evening fingers crossedYou can if you think you can .0 -
Late on the thread as always, but can I join in please?
I only include days where I spend nothing at all as an NSD, regardless of whether it was within my budget.
I'm going for 12 this month.Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -

Sazzie23 - so sorry to hear about your DH. I hope he's on the road to recovery very soon and that everything works out for you both.
I'm super confident that I can chalk up my first NSD today. I'm back at work this morning. I've made by breakfast and lunch, I have dinner in the fridge - what more could a girl need?0 -
