Sazzie23 - big hugs, what a stressful time for you and OH, never be sorry for 'unloading' on here, as the BT ad used to say 'it's good to talk' x
MissT - glad you're feeling a little better but take things easy (and carefully) xxfreebyfifty wrote: »What a lovely thing to say :A
I know what you mean, this thread is so close to my heart because it made me really concentrate on being MSE and taking things seriously in a lighthearted way - if that makes sense
Couldn't agree more Freeby.Florida2013 wrote: »I have a friend who flicks the bottom of the envelope so it sounds like he has dropped a coin in! :rotfl:

Quite funny, although I'm not sure I'd have the guts to do it :rotfl:
Well not a NSD for me today, needed cotton wool pads (wild I know) or else I'd wake up in the morning looking like I'd been in a Kiss tribute band :rotfl::rotfl:
However, now have a quandry, I'm trying to be good and cook from the freezer (well obviously I mean use the food from the freezer and cook it in the oven - I'm not using Igor's cookery book :rotfl:) Now, I was planning chilli or something similar tomorrow but I have no mushrooms and i do like a mushroom in my chilli. Was also planning to do OH a homemade kebab on Fri (turkey already marinaded and in the freezer) but I need to get pitta bread for him (which is ok as I can use it for sarnies at work.) If I'd thought about it sooner I could have got them at lunchtime today, so, do I get them tomorrow and lose a NSD, or get them on Fri (and not bother with mushrooms tomorrow) - so I'd get a NSD tomorrow but know I wasn't getting one on Fri anyway? *OI wake up - I know i'm waffling but I can see you sleeping at the back there* The other small issue is that I've realised I have a bag of spinich in the fridge which I am loathed to throw out, although it must be past it's best (to say the least) as I bought it before xmas :eek::eek: so what do I do with that..... answers on a postcard please.....

NSD number 2 todayGrocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
NSD Challenge: October 0/140 -
Kerri - I would definitely live without the mushrooms. I love mushrooms in just about everything, they bulk out a meal and you use less meat
but are they worth losing an NSD over?????
As for spinich - I have no idea. I have never, ever used it. Can you wilt it with some spices to go with your kebabs??????Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Use the spinach to bulk out the chilli rather than the mushrooms...Ninja Saving Turtle0
