I've just realised that I've actually managed to complete an update on the same day that it was intended for (if that makes sense ), that has got to be a first for me
:D
Declaring NSD no 22 for today please Freeby.
I have paid my tax bill today:(:(:(:( but that is definitely a necessary spend if I want to avoid being thrown in jail and I've resisted all temptations to treat myself after the shock _pale_
I was wondering whether or not I could claim yesterday as a NSD (which would mean I would hit my target) as the only thing I spent was paying my self assessment tax bill - money which has been accumulating in a savings account on a monthly basis. The final total was even slightly less than I had saved as I never want any nasty surprises so tend to err on the side of caution.
So as this was a completely budgeted and prepared for spend I am going to declare yesterday as
nsd#15 / 15 so target achieved :j
Thank you for all the motivation, ideas and giggles and looking forward now to February (though I am not giving up on Jan and am hoping for a couple more NSDs before Friday)0 -
Daddy Rivett found a cash box I used for collecting all the monies for an church field trip I put together last year. The notes were paid in but I kept all the coins thinking we could use them up throughout the year.
I bagged everything up and put all the 20p's in the 20p Club piggy bank and I went to the bank today to bank the rest of the coins.
In total there was £25 so I was really pleased, another £10 off the debt and another NSD.- MSE Forum Achievements:

Hi All,
Its a MASSIVE spend day for me! Boooo!! Car is in for service and MOT and it needs a new timing belt too so its going to cost £400!! I only budgeted a quarter of that so the rest will have to come out of my savings. :-(
Still, on a (very small!) up side, I don't need a babysitter for tomorrow evening as I'm now not going to the meeting so I've saved £10 again this week.
That means with the money I have saved that past two weeks, I have the money to buy the car park pass for the whole of spring/summer season at our local nature reserve. We spend alot of time there at weekends so that will help.
I hope I won't go over budget tomorrow so that might be a NSD.
Hope everyone is having a good day!On target for mortgage freedom September 20230 -

This made me smile today

Spend day for me, Lunch at church, full meal £3, so can't complain! Have combined it with paying school cooking money and milk money, also some shopping in hope that the rest of January stays a no spend.0

:j:j yay me NSD #15 :j:j
Went to the hospital today for obstetrician appt, got there extremely early so we bought a paper, drinks and crisps but hubby paid and he paid for car parking. I did offer though.
Was a great appt as it was the first time hubby saw baby and heard heartbeat.
Baby was having a right wiggle too.
Hope everyone is well and nabbing the last few NSD's of the month.
Ps loving the pics.
