solventsoon wrote: »:hello: wildcherry - You’ve been busy today, hopefully you’ll get lots of sales. Re NSDs, it depends on what you want to target, we all make your own rules. Some of us, me included, don’t count DDs. My main aim when joining the challenge was to target unnecessary spends, I figured I can’t do much about the necessary spends so left the DDs out of it. Hope that helps x
I meant to comment on this earlier.I think that this has persuaded me not to count dds-very well put!Do you also not count when paying bills since it's a necessary spend? Thanks spoon!:)
After yesterday's orgy of spending,I'm glad to report today as #17.0 -

marmite - no need to apologise, the update was fabby as always. Sorry to hear about your breadmaker but you’re right to get a new one I’m sure. Good to hear you’ve taken up swimming again, hope it helps your back. :A
Thanks spoon:) and thanks for the mega update!butdoineedit? wrote: »Finish on Feb 8th, so not even 3 weeks to go :j & then have a weeks paid leave that i needed to take before i start my new job on 18th!!
Got my bit of satisfaction today when the 2 senior workers, who are at the heart of the gossiping & cliqueyness, realised that i'd be on more money than them in my new job, there were a few very amazed "how did you manage that?" type comments, to which i just replied "obviously my skills are better than you though" smiled sweetly & left the office.... (before i broke into a massive grin)
Very well played!:Dfreebyfifty wrote: »

Hi Everyone
Hope your Wednesday has been good so far. I worked from home today and got loads done and guess what - 21 NSD for me. I received my barclaycard statement in today in it is now very strongly in the £2K mark which is great as it was too long in the £3K mark.
That said, I was offered a 0% deal on any balance transfer onto my Barclaycard for a 6 month period, I called them and they said as I've been paying back large amounts yes I could for 2.9% transfer fee.
This will be really good, I could get rid of the Halifax one and put all my debt onto the Barclaycard and clear. The only thing I'm a bit wery of is this. If I do take them up on the offer will the payments I make come off of the balance transfered and they keep charging me interest on the £2K untill all the balance transfer has been paid back? ie if I pay back the £2K over the next few months will they see this at the £2K debt cleared and then not charge me interest for the next 3 months or will I still be paying interest on the £2K over the next 6 months?
does that make sense or is it me?
