Morning Folks!

Work for me today (and the rest of the week). I have budgeted for £5 a day spend at work as I buy a hot meal at lunch time so I have a snack when I get home. DD1 has a hot meal at school as does DD2 so it works for us.
I know I could save more cash not doing it but I have it in my allocated spends and it makes the day work out well.
As long as I don't go over my allocated spends it'll be a NSD for me again. This is really focussing the mind. I can't remember a January that has been so enjoyable for several years!

I'll help get to that 1000 as monday was a NSD for me - I did get some fruit and veg but as this was in my budget I don't count it. I am hopeful for today too so will check in later.

Yesterday at work means one more NSD so that is now 11 NSDs out of 13!! One more towards the magic 1000!


Bdini - only 3 weeks of sweet revenge to go.....now, any ideas for witty replies for Bdini when people comment on her new job?

My favourite smart reply at the moment is "Well, you've either got it or you haven't......" delivered with a suitable preening type of gesture and a ruddy great fat smirk on your face....

(Is that turnip whisky ready yet, Igor? Don't forget the NSD gang will be in serious drinking mode on Friday at the Burns Night supper! And we ought to send a couple of bottles round to Bdini as well in celebration of the new job....she might slip some in the office tea and stand back to watch the effects....)

How about 'I'm really grateful to all you small minded, bully-boy gossip mongers. If you hadn't made my life such hell last year I wouldn't have got off my !!!! and looked for a new job - and now I'll be in a better position and on more money than I was here' (accompany with suitably 'butter wouldn't melt sickly sweet' expression (think Dolores Umbridge a la Harry Potter)
