Wildcherry - warm hotchocolate or hot orange juice and colouring in with the little ones instead of going out in the cold and £2 up on the week makes an even warmer feeling

I just banked another £20 today onto the overdraft, I sold 5 dvds for £20 and went straight to Lloyds and lunchtime. There was no queue so I spoke to the cashier I always go to, she has been there since I can remember, she said I'm doing really well and was so encouraged by my cutting back. I told her about our little NSD club on here and about all the things I've cut back on in order to clear my debts by the end of the year. She couldn't believe I'd paid back so much in a short space of time and told me that in this day and age it was so encouraging to see such determintation and spirit. Looks like today will be my target day, I have nothing else planned this afternoon.

NSD 16 claimed for today. One thing I love about nsd's is that by not going out spending on junk we can afford things like theatre tickets and meals out. We've missed out on so much by wasting our money in the past.
Thank you all for the thread and help and encouragement. :T
P.S. We also have tickets for The Mousetrap which I've waited all my life to see.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Thank you, I decided to give Rainbows a miss. I felt abit guilty as this would only have been DD1's second time but the roads haven't got any better and we have freezing fog now too.
Count this as my NSD#4! I am so happy! Really pleased that I am doing so well and even happier that I am actually saving money on my NSD. The £2 will go in my pot when I have the money in my purse. Only have a note and I'm not buying anything to get it in there!!
I've decided to have a little tea party for DD2 first birthday so there will be some (planned for) spends but if anyone has some easy cake ideas please let me know (PM me?). I just want a few that are easy but yummy as my baking skills are about average!!On target for mortgage freedom September 20230 -

First of all, sorry last night's update was not very chatty, but I was knackered.
Not an nsd today as my beloved Kenwood Breadmaker has died and I have bought another. It's something I use a lot,so feel a bit lost without one.I'm not sure that that is what my emergency fund is for though?
I've also taken up swimming again, having been advised by two doctors that it would really help my back.I'd forgotten how much I love swimming and have bought a subscription for...a year, which works out much cheaper.I'm planning on going on my days off,so that's 3-4 times a week.Anyway that's the plan.
This has also come out of my emergency fund,so there's not much left now. It's going to help my back so much,so it's worth it.
bdini shame you didn't see the bossman.Glad you're still grinning though.:)When do you finish?
rising hope the return to work is not too tiring.
if love the cartoon!0 -

Going to Mr T's after work with OH but grocery shopping is within the budget so I'm good for another NSD
And sold 2 items on ebay so made a whopping huge £10

NSD 5 for me please. :j
I have been at work all day and had no reason to stop at the shops on the way home, so very pleased indeed!
Tomorrow will be a mammoth trip to the shops though as we are quite literally eating the dregs out of the cupboard/freezer.0
