Hey Everyone,
Phew! Feeling not too bad today so that is a good thingAlthough i should be panicing over the sheer amount of money i've spent  I returned one of the dresses - it was very dressy - lovely for the occasion it was purchased for but as that has been cancelled i took the dress back - unfortunately i promptly bought a dress for £25 :eek::eek: in the sale - this one will get lots of wear though as its a casual one and its more of these that i need
Problem was though i had a £25 voucher still for this shop and i thought great! no money spent! Except when i got to the till i realised i'd left the voucher in my other bag
As it was the last one in my size i just paid for it
Yikes! this wouldn't have been so bad - except i needed to order some new glasses - which left very little change from £100 - double what i was intending to spend *gulp* - the cheaper pairs though really did not suit me and as i wear them constantly it was best i chose the ones i was happier with otherwise it'd just been more money spent another time to replace them hmm...
So i need to rein in the spending and re-focus on frugal ways and getting the money together for all the jobs that need to be done.
Hope everyone else is well xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

So that is a decent enough start although the ou stuff - as well as having a shower :rotfl: need to be my priority - think i'll break it up into chunks of study followed by moving something from the bag of all things / shower etc. as well as popping back here for a mooch and a breakCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000

Well i read through what i've done and made a few minor corrections in pen - but this doesn't help too much with the complete over-haul that's needed
 - hmm... alot to plot and ponder over.
Having done all the cleaning i was most irritated that my mr put an open bag back in the cupboard upside down  so just spent the best part of 10 minutes clearing the cupboard, the work top and the floor which said item emptied all over and is now just a waste and in the bin - i know he must have been tired when he did it - but i'm tired with all the cleaning up i do after him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So now is the time i shift 1 item from the bag of all things and then crack on with the re-write *eep* - am completely shattered today too - i've not slept well all week waking up from nightmares most nights and then struggling to nod off again - not sure why i'm wide awake at 4am and then struggling to get up at 7am  Struggling hugely with this final piece of work so any *positive vibes* would be a massive help
I am trying to keep the heating off today although it is on the cooler side - i may warm up when i have my showerand may wake up a bit more too

Urgh! It isn't going as well as i'd hoped
Still i have started and done something so that can only be a good thing
I have also showered so am lovely and clean
succumbed and popped the heating on ready for getting out of the shower, turned it off again now  Throat is threatening to be a scratchy sore thing - lovely
Lunch is on and should be ready in a few minutes
I've also moved 10 items from the bag of all things - which has now become a pile of all things :TCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
How is the assignment going? I hope you can redraft it in the way you would like. Sometimes it is difficult to visualise how the finished piece of work should look and flow. I hope that makes sense.
I have a big report to write this weekend and other work to do. I have suddenly hit a lot of deadlines at work and I am so far behind I really need to make good progress this weekend. And do the washing and ironing etc. My to do list could rival yours! I have a long weekend away over May Day so need to keep that in mind as something to look forward to.
Have a nice weekend xMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Good luck with the assignment"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hi chocs - i've missed you!! Hope everything is ok? And that you get everything done that you need to today
What you say about my assignment makes perfect sense. First off, when i wrote it all i was like :j:T:D - just so happy to have got it down on paper and in the way i was happy with. Then i left it for a bit and went back to it and thought  There's alotta changes to be made! Then pondered this and am seriously thinking of a whole re-structure which will involve a fair bit of re-writing and writing fresh too  That's it i had the idea of the shape of the piece but now i have my doubts and feel i need to change it by cutting alot although what i'd cut i'd still need bits of that in to make sense so yep! Alot of work to do - i'll update on progress throughout the day on here

Morning world
I am a tired bean today - but then i have been tired all week so no change there then. i have been up an hour and done a bit of tidying, washed, breakfasted, had a coffee, looked into booking a night with friends - not sure why i always get tasked with these things! Especially when i am so busy but hey ho!
Plan for today is to really get stuck into the assignment and making changes on that, re-read some of my course book - this is both for research and to act as a prompt for some things and continue with the dastardly pile of all things!
Had a bit of an odd day yesterday - well first off, which wasn't odd but good i nabbed me a MS which i got up and did first thing hence missing the carbooty - but to be honest i've never really got much from there anyways and i *really* wanted to do the MS - so got that all done and report in which was pretty good going for a mornings work. Anyways a friend then popped in - hence the disappearance of my assignment time and she had been so negative when my Mr told her about our mortgage overpayments (think he just did it as she was going on about how low her mortgage is basically due to her being on repayment for over 15years) and she came round to say about how she's going to be moving to a much bigger house (she earns 4x my wage) and its got me pondering as to how we will be able to make that move to - it all comes down to my carpy salary and inability to get a decent paid job. I'll need to get to the agencys in the summer i think - that'll be the way to start earning abit more although my ou is so important i also feel that has to be my priority, xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
