Hi everyone - hope all are well?
I have got such a busy day today - i am supposed to be doing an MS that i *really* *really* want to do but if the washer doesn't finish in the next 10minutes i'll need to try and re-arrange itThat's how busy today is
Of course seeing as i am going out tonight - on a night out which has been planned for months - i have woken up today feeling completely rotten - generally cough / cold / achey / things don't taste the same. I'll just have to ignore this lot and carry onBut the face full of spots is another matter :rotfl::rotfl: Ok, maybe not full of spots but a couple of really well placed ones :rotfl::rotfl: Oh well! Typical eh?
I got my assignment in last night :T Please, please, please send your *positive vibes* - i am sure it is all of you who have got me my grades so farThere is now just the end of course assessment which is such a huge piece of work  Thankfully i have made a start on this but there is a lot of reading up to be done still and the subsequent note-taking and writing up - i'm hoping to put a plan of study in place each week just to keep me on top of it all
Still no post - not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing as at least there are no bills coming
Right best prepare in case the washer finishes doing its thingCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Still around, just not getting time to post really. Well done on the assignments, decluttering, etc etc. Hope all is well.
Did you get my card by the way?
Good luck with the job applications, did you decide which to go for?"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Jwil!!!!! :j:j:j:j Lovely to see you back though i understand you reading and not having chance to post. Hope all is well with you and yours?
I *may* have got something from you - just seen a neighbour on their way out who said they've got a parcel and a load of our post - seems instead of posting the post through our letterbox for us they've been awaiting us going round for the parcel Hmmm! we didn't get a card from the postie and aren't expecting any parcels so had no idea.. hope its something goodI'll let you know - they pulled in in their car to tell me so it'll be a case of popping round later or tomorrow now
Hope all is well with you honI have missed your posts but as you probably tell from my posts i've been a tad snowed under too - i'm currently sporting suitcases under my eyes and am shattered
Nope - not decided on the job yet - i want the money from the full-time and the hours of the part-time :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Anyways will read job descriptions first and then decide - its at that place i told you about. Application is tomorrow - today i've got to:- food shop, take a car load of decluttered stuff to family, washing, ironing ready for tonight  wash myself as well - maybe i need an iron too  :rotfl::rotfl: And after 30minutes just got onto to the site to do the report so i'd better crack on with that :eek:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi All!
Wow! long time no post from meso a quick update - i haven't been posting as i've just been feeling all out of sorts really
I am tired, have alot of ou work to do and am worrying as to whether i'll pass this module or not and how i will pay for the next one, work is pants, my weight isn't shifting, my debt isn't shifting... all keeping me awake at night worrying - hence the tiredness
Today i'm going to clean the house so it'll be at least nice and clean to sit in - i long for one of those karcher window cleaner things... but for another time maybe... So that will help with things.
I've already looked for another job but nothing else to apply for at the mo. - i am sure there must be something but my available time to look is so limited.
Today i'm going to spend at least 4 hours - and hopefully longer - on my ou and put a plan in place for over the weekend.
Its the weekend so i'm happy to eat what i want but i'm going to stop eating at 11pm from monday - it is far too late to be eating but as i;m up at 7 out by 9 and back by 10.15pm i have gotten into this bad habit so that should help too.
I'm going to aim to direct any extra income to the debt and try and clear out some more things. That being said i *did* go on a bit of a shopping spree  I bought 3 dresses and 3 skirts  All items were in the sale - total spend was £49 which wasn't so bad i don't think as one of the dresses was reduced from... £55 - i have to try on one of the dresses so that may be returned but i already tried the other 2 on and they are lovely - 1 is just a day dress - a very conscious decision to try an stop living in pj's- again something that i hope by getting up and actually getting dressed on occasion may help buck me up a bit
a going out dress which i am so glad i tried on because it was so cheap - from £40 to £12 and its one of those which is just plain and looks nothing on the hanger but looked fab on :T The expensive dress or was until it was reduced
is quite dressy and stunning - definitely for a night out and i got that with an event in mind that we are going to - if it doesn't fit or looks horrid on though i can get a full refund :T The skirts i got all in the sale as well and are really for summer / holidays - when we went away last time i realised that the skirts i took just weren't right and promptly ebayed them (had for a while they weren't new) but i was really limited in what i could wear whilst i was away - again a huge reduction on the skirts so really quite bargainous although i did spend money
Right shopping beckons so i will try and post again either later on or tomorrow. Hope you are all well xxCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Glad you are ok. the jobs sound good, that place does look like a good employer. Go for it!
You'll get there with the courses etc. I'm stressing a bit about money too, we'll all get there!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Thanks jwil
After getting all the house cleaned up, the shopping done and put away, washing drying and ironing done and put away and making tea i finally got to sit down and have some time for me at 7pm  So i got my 4 hours of study in and have already done some this morning. I'm going to do myself a weekend to do list to encourage me to post so i;m not hiding away, get things done, and have an idea of what i want to achieve and then i can enjoy crossing things offCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Have decided its much more important that i get words on paper methinks so am about to crack on with that hopefully today. This will be broken up with moving (hopefully) all manner of things out of the living room. Not sure if i can keep the heating off all day today like i managed yesterday as the temperature seems to have plummeted again and it is in general a cloudy and murky day outside
Hmm.. have no money, gas and electric bills arrived yesterday  so i'll need to get those paid - feeling like i shouldn't have bought all those clothes this last week though they will be worn, they all fit and were all hugely reduced £269 worth of clothes for £49 so quite a bargain really but its still spending moneyI think though that i actually bought things that were needed rather than just going "ooh thats pretty i'll have that" so that at least is a move in the right direction - i think
Hope its a good day for everyoneCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hi Dedicated!
I'm sure I've posted at least twice on your thread in the past two/three days and they haven't shown up. Here's hoping third time lucky!
If you really *needed* the clothes, then you should keep them...if they are needed and not just random impulse purchases, then you will get the value of what you paid for them threefold or more. However, if you really struggle for your bills, you may wish to return them (you are a resourceful old bean, though, so I hope that you find another way around it).
Best of luck with the work. You are so motivated....wish I was half as motivated as you! :TDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20
