It does show a flaw in the system in that buyers can claim something never arrived and are likely to get a refund even if they have the item. Unless it is high value it will never get thoroughly investigated.

I guess you just have to hope that ebay keep a careful record of buyers who continually claim that something doesnt arrive. They of course have no record of sellers who resend an item and claim from RM when a buyer just messages to say its not been received.

    Gary.

I don't know what criteria Ebay issue a NFR on but there are times when neither party is in the wrong.

And flaws, yes there are many. But I am sure ebay won't part with any of their own money unless they have exhausted all the enquiries they can make.

I would safely assume that the buyer has now been refunded, rendering the tickets invalid. As the seller I would now consider ensuring the tickets do not get used and report them as stolen\missing in order to make them void.

I will try but I doubt that will be possible as they are standing tickets. As far as I know they aren’t traceable, like seating tickets.

The venue in question just rips off the stub and lets you into the standing area, so unless there has been some form of new technology introduced recently, it’s unlikely L

Most tickets now have a bar code,i recently had some tickets that didnt arrive from live nation and when i rang they cancelled the bar code and issued new tickets. So did you have to sign for the tickets yourself when they were delivered to you?if not ring company and say that you havent recieved them and then they will cancel them and issue new tickets,so at least then if your buyer did recieve them and plans using them they cant,i know you been refunded but why let them get away with it.Also you should contact royal mail and claim that they werent delivered to right address,as they will look into matter of who signed for them.
