Can I ask where you have seen this?

I'd like to do that too.

It's all here! it's not perfect! needs a reflow system to solder the connector (or a VERY VERY steady hand and the smallest solder tip around)

How much do you want to bet that the 2nd gen Nexus 7 will feature a 5MP rear camera?

I am certainly not Stephen Fry. Gumtree is very different from Ebay or Amazon. Some of these websites have systems in place wherein if you changed your mind you can always "Cancel" the order hence the buyer will not be charged fro the item. The seller is not forced to sell or ship the item if he or she changes their mind. I can say this because i'm a seller myself.

I don not agree with the "assumptions" given to me. You like to pre-judging people based on what you are reading on here. I am just an ordinary citizen asking for some advice and i suppose my job is to "reconcile" your advice with my ideas/opinion in order for me to make a proper judgement.
  • Please do not feed the troll!

If you search for all threads started by the OP, you will find they enjoy a good debate over nothing. Such as asking for an HDMI cable for their PS3, and turning down most/all recommendations to them - link to thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4205461

I didn't suggest that they were. But whatever the particular terms are on Gumtree (with which I'm not familiar), they do not negate basic contract law, which still applies if the seller wants to enforce it.
Why put an item up for sale before you are sure you want to sell it?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

IMO you are making a rather large assumption about the item in discussion actually existing. I think it far more likely that we are being trolled as has already been suggested.

Google have stated that they won't be putting rear cams on any of their tablets!

Rear cams are for phones ^_^

anyhoo latest 3G version of the N7 has had it's insides redesigned so not more camera mount...

What you mean the 3G version's insides has been redesigned? In what way?

Thank god for that, have you seen at concerts and places of interest when folk try and take pics with a tablet. Particularly common in the USA as well.
