Best place to bulk buy *decent* chicken fillets

My husband and I eat chicken fillets 2-3 times a week. I'm trying to work out the cheapest place to bulk buy *good quality* filets (i.e. ones not full of water and goodness knows what else!) enough for a month that i can then freeze.
I normally do my food shop in Aldi, but i'm not a fan of their meat.
Ideas?

A decent local butcher.
A farm shop.
Not a supermarket.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
I buy mine online from Clare Barry.

and also there Steak Mince is the best ever, I would never buy steak mince from a supermarket again, Clare's mince is full of favour.

Hi there
Do you have a Costco nearby? If so I highly recommend not just their chicken but all their fresh meat. The chicken fillets are amazing though & superb value0 -
Costco meat is brilliant - last time I checked (around August) their skinless boneless chicken breasts were £6.95/kg."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

I have no idea of prices, to be honest, but I do agree that Costco meat is superb as is their fish, prawns etc.
I would love to take a trip there tomorrow but I know it will be busy and I need to shop in a hurry.0 -

Unless it has the Red Tractor label on, British can mean British-packed, not British-reared.
Unless the chicken is organic, it can be fed GM feed - and this doesn't have to be labelled.
Non-organic chicken can have added water, dextrose, salt, sodium acetate, glucose syrup and more besides added.
You won't find these things listed on the front of the pack they will be on the back in tiny letters.
Free range can mean that the thousands of chickens in the barn have access to the outdoors but that can be more theory than practice.0 -
farm shop or CostcoAs God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again0

Try your local independant butchers or farm shop, they may even throw you in a discount if you are bulk-buying!0
