    Arguing over assumptions ?.

If there was an Olympic event in that, Sgt Pepper would win a gold every time!

Said the man who makes assumptions on things he has no working knowledge of.

Well God forbid that I think you are being sarcastic here, but it is highly likely that there would not be a full compliment of recovery facilities available on Christmas day compared to a normal day of the week. So I think it's safe to assume that the normal 30 mins of response (to which you claim it to be, and I havn't argued with that), was not going to happen in the OP's case.

A beat bobby is more likely to call up a panda than a traffic car. ;)

Come on, even you (champion arguer) are running out of steam now! So what?? A beat bobby will call upon the nearest available vehicle with a breath test kit will he not?? That could even be an ARV!!

This may be a ridiculous suggestion (based on the fact that the thread isn't about drink driving as far as I know), but why not stick to arguing about un-insured drivers? You never know, it may still give you the same amount of pleasure!! :rotfl:

Not much point in calling an arv, if it don't routinely police.
  • Hi sarah
Not much compassion on here, I guess you just wanted some factual advice, well, I don't have that as not been in your situation, but for sure, I've made a bad judgement that only came to light after the event and has cost me, more than once (different errors, each is a lesson)

No one got hurt, you don't need anyone to tell you that you made a bad choice so for sure you will learn from it,

Sometimes it feels like in life you only get faced with choices that each carry a risk so you choose the less risky, get caught, get judged and next time look further for a solution

Don't worry too much sarah, a fine and a lesson in life will box this off and move on.

Everyone that posts on here will have made a bad choice at some point, we re all flawed, good luck with getting some wheels sorted for you or your daughter in future & of course all taxed insured etc

No real harm done so keep perspective

Yet again, you didn't read my post correctly! What I meant was, it maybe an ARV which was the closest vehicle with a breath test kit to that of a beat bobby requesting one.
