Not sure how the Irish work but probably a fine and points.

Five points and a fine of up to €2,500 and/or a possible term of imprisonment.

Not sure if the points can be put on a Polish licence. Probably not.

@Polish girl.........................and put your post into paragraphs.
I'll bet her English is better than your Polish with or without paragraphs. ;)

Absolutely... I can't speak a word of Polish. And I dunno bout you, I can't be arsed to read a great big block of text like that. Plus the fact this is someone else's thread which bears no relation to the OP's case.

    Cheers

They can't endorse the polish licence. Not sure if their system is up to a ghost licence as they are regional issue.

Probably add it to this guy's licence http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/7899171.stm

    someone else's thread

    - agreed, resurrecting old threads just mangles different questions

In Poland, the insurance is with the car, not with the person as in the UK might help explain the O/P's fragile assumptions on Ubezpieczenie.

However like all cases its up to the individual to personally find out and comply with the law in whichever country they live and drive in.
