My mum called the walk in cupboard/room just inside her front door the 'magic cupboard' she kept all her stashes in there. If you ever ran out of something or broke a household appliance you could guarantee mum ahd some in her cupboard. She used to tell my DD to help herself to something from the 'magic cupboard' every time we visited.:D

DD just had a wee in the toilet :j:j:j

It has taken 5 days, 2 of which were to get her used to the toilet as she is terrified of the potty!

:T:T:T Very proud mammy right now :j:j:j

Well done to you both. :j:j
I seem to have gone round in a circle with my ds. He's had a wee and a number 2 (both on the same day) and now won't do anything else. He holds it in and won't stay sat on the toilet when I take him. He piddled on the carpet 3 times yesterday and then got upset bless him. Any ideas on how to help him along would be very welcomed :)
Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Fairclaire - poor you, sounds like you have a lot of difficult decisions to make and problems at home too.
I am not aware of what is wrong with your OH, but feel for you.
Having my own share of mental health and physical problems and no one to care for me, I think your OH is very luck to have you and you must look after yourself and do whatever you feel is right in your heart.

Hugs for you Saversue, we care for you

Borrow/buy one of those plastic seats that fit inside the toilet seat - kids like those. Makes them feel secure that they are not going to fall down the toilet:D

My DH has no patience with me in the car but without him telling me I could do it and keep going I would never have stuck at it.

He has supported me in anything and everything I have wanted to do over the years, I wouldn't be teaching now if it wasn't for him.

Waiting for him to ring me now to say he has got to Staffordshire safe and sound.

my o/h wanted me to learn in his sports car when i meet him , hes very laid back and taught me well , then i found a lady instructor after have 3 men ones and did few weeks with her and pasted , im so gr8full to my o/h like you say gr8t

support, , hope your o/h rings soon
