I been to co op today and they had party cheese marked down to 30p and a spread out hand sized bit of Brie for 60p.
Ain't got a clue about the Brie. The spicy hot cheddar will keep me going for a good while
Also had a bit of a sort out of my chest freezer, I got space now :jI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. My mum called the walk in cupboard/room just inside her front door the 'magic cupboard' she kept all her stashes in there. If you ever ran out of something or broke a household appliance you could guarantee mum ahd some in her cupboard. She used to tell my DD to help herself to something from the 'magic cupboard' every time we visited.:D0

Dig out your Jacobs crackers (other brands are avàilable:D) and slap some Brie on some. Ooh and crack a bottle of nice red to go with them :TLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -
Thanks to the person who suggested grating cheese before freezing. It is a simple little idea but one which saves hassle and time. I froze when there was an abundance of cheese and put into wee sealed lunchbags.:T It fits into places where nothing else fits in the freezer.never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0

Phew finally caught up. Not been shopping all weekend which was lovely - took dog for a few long walks and went back to the gym. Have eaten all the festive left overs now so healthy eating restarts tomorrow!
Hugs for those who need then - sounds like some folks are getting more than their fair share of troubles at the moment.0 -
