I've been bored senseless today, so DD and I took a wee wander to the Retail Park, did some Quidco checking in and had a wee wander round the shops, wasn't meant to be spending any money but spotted a pair of £4 slippers in the sale for DD and she needs them for nursery, so I can justify that spend, but not the tea and scone with jam and cream in the T's cafe :rotfl:

regarding the pomegranate, they have two prices for this item.
One on a normal shelf for 1.38, i hope this one compares with Mr T, and one in the chill cabinet for 1.50.

Just back from asda, they have reduced their Xmas chocs to very little
Thorntons collection (white thick box) 500ish grams £2.50

These were not supposed to be reduced until tomorrow SAs in Newtown Ards were very annoyed that one girl had noticed they were cheaper than SEL so was printing out new ones

was in one tosco yesterday and coke on 8 for 1.87 different one today 8 for £2 didn't get any either time but confusing .

Markz really sorry to hear what happened to you . you must have been so disoriented and feel so helpless today . life can be so frustrating at times . hope your go is able to offer some advice tomorrow and organise the necessary tests quickly .

I went to the cinema yesterday . stunned at the price! paid £26 for 2! but I have to say its a was my little local cinema that I haven't been to for years and paid extra for premium seats . wanted OH to see life of pI and he hates cinema but he loved the film . I go to the cinema a lot but travel to the one my dd 2 works at so don't usually pay anything .

remembering the person who found 10p spring bulbs yesterday when we went into Home Bargains this afternoon I had a look and found twin packs of little alliums marked up at 29p for thirty bulbs, very good deal, half are yellow and half pink. brilliant for filling in small corners or even for planting up in pots and tubs.
best of all they went through the till for 10p :T
planted outside already and I Really need an excuse to go back and get more.
Also spotted 3kg bags of Iams for cats for £5 - now I am really regretting not getting at least one of those even if they were short dated.we usually have some sort of cat food stockpile but with 3 cats it does not last long.
really need to grit teeth and have a look at how much cat food is actually left
So this lead me to checking what else we are running low on, still plenty of cereal left as I have the job of eating the porridge oats mountain. We are low on muesli bars so they are going to have to eat the moments bars before I buy anything else!

She's a barmy old bird and made the girls in the shop laugh when she went in with this. They thought it was a joke but she said 'I don't want them to write just anything about me so done it myself that way I know it's done right!' :rotfl: this was written about 10 years ago and everyone has a copy by now just incase the shop is taken over and her note gets lost. She wants to be sure her words get out to those who matter.

Just a quickie boring thing but might help someone;)I had to buy some colour run remover today as I'd washed DS burgundy sweatshirt and it had run like mad:o So tossed up whether to buy it in T's as it was £3.99:eek::eek:but glad I did as it went through at £1.99:T and theirs 3 sachets in each pack so handy to have "Just in case"

Well we are all sttled for the next month in our new home :rotfl::rotfl:
Been out for dinner yum yum!! Thats the good thing being here, no coooking or cleaning :rotfl::rotfl:
I have had a text from 1 of my sisters and another 1 of my sisters is in hospital, we dont really get on but do speak if we see each other. But about 6 months ago her husband of 25 years left her and she is now in hospital with a breakdown I will ring my sister thats told me in a while and find out, dont wish her any harm as dont wish anyone that!
