Hi Floflo I hope you have a fabulous birthday. :bdaycake:
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

oops sorry:o Where did I get that from then? Shows I don't pay enough attention:o For some obscure reason I associate anyone with Caz in their username with NI. Probably confusing you with someone else:o

There's a colliery museum near us where you can have a go at making them. I always thought that hooky/proggy mats were mainly a North East coal mining thing but I guess many poor industrialised areas would have made them:)
I've been there and had a go.
Found my Mam was a dab hand at it.
I have lots if rellies in Northumberland.
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
Good things come to those who wait:A Bad things come on express delivery:(

MARKZ123 What an awful situation for you but maybe in time,as your confidence builds, you will get to use the bus or perhaps back to driving after a lapse???

In any case, if it helps, I am more than happy to help you out with anything you need. I generally have too much of everything.........coupons from mags etc. If I lived nearby, you could jump in the passenger seat for a daily run to Mr T:D

FAIRCLAIRE this is actually a stressful situation- you are damned if you sell and you are damned if you don't. Either way it is time to make money out of it - since your savings are dwindling.

Your dad would want you to do what is right for you - these things are never easy. Take advice from those you trust and do what is right for your family:A

    On a more cheerful note-

Happy birthday to Floflo(our in house consultant) and Naebirrac.

I didn't have a tough day like markz. but was a little odd and annoying.

My friend came around and serviced and repaired all my windows so they are like new. Totally amazing.

the next minute, he is coming back from the shop and sees the wing mirror hanging off and scratches along the side.

not only this but other side has been trollied and has deep scratchs along the other door.

    so gutted..

later in the evening we hear a tap at the window and there is a little old lady cold and confused walking around in the dark in her slippers. OH talks to her and we bring her in and make her tea. We call the police as she doesn't know where she is etc. The police take her and try to find out where she lives.

thank god she knocked on our window. it beggars belief as to what could of happened.

    a bizarre day.

by the way my friend has only been learning to womble for a week and he's better than me. he has no shame, he was straight in the bushes.. he got more than 3 pounds, I ended up with 4p.

my great gran used to go on walks;) in the middle of he nite she had alzimhers and offten mum and dad wuld get a call from the police or the local warden to come get her , she was rubbish sleeper adn after 1 /2 hours she was ready to go again lol we were so lucky nothing happend to her ,

then another time i was at home alone and there was a loud bang on door and then i culd here vibrations and lots of wind it was a guy trying to evaid the police and helicopter:eek::rotfl::rotfl: i didnt answere the door as i culd see the police out side the house :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
