Thanks, I will try to put in a claim through Royal Mail if its not at the sorting office, although its not clear on their website if you can or not. You used to be able to claim upto around £28 pounds but some of the policies seem to have changed. I will try anyway. Even if I'm successful, in future I'll send anything over a £10 recorded as its not worth all this hassle if something goes wrong.

    http://www.royalmail.com/delivery/business-delivery-options-uk/first-class-mail/details

    Compensation

For stamped or franked items posted with Royal Mail which have no intrinsic value, or where a customer cannot provide evidence of posting, there will be compensation for loss, damage and delay of a minimum of 6 x 1st class stamps at the first weight step. In the event of a compensation claim for loss we will refund the postage paid or 6 x 1st class stamps at the first weight step, whichever is greater.

For lost or damaged stamped or franked items that have an intrinsic value, with evidence of posting with Royal Mail (such as a certificate of posting) and evidence of value (such as an invoice or receipt) customers will be entitled to a postage refund plus compensation for actual loss up to the value of the item, or £46, whichever is the lowest

Thinking of 4 of these . A total of £12. Use £3 off dairy voucher and £4 on PP compared against A?
    Four blocks for a fiver

Last day tomorrow for the dairy voucher and cheese stocks are getting low

Or does anyone have a better idea:)

    I've done 6 x cheese and 2 x £3 vouchers :)
Starting to save £2 coins again, but it is a struggle:rotfl:Not doing very well keep spending them

On the subject of t taking conditional spends, they have drove me crazy over the past say eight weeks. I went to CS to ask if they take them and the lady read me the flyer saying they take them but not apg. All set, no problem, right! Every time after this I went to pay and the same old story, let me check if we take them, oh no we don't. To CS, oh yes we do. A right pantomime.

Week before Christmas it happened again so I had the line supervisor over at CS, she apologised and I told her to go train the staff as I was sick to the back teeth of the waste of my time.

Christmas Eve, early morning. Went to pay. Hang on I check, number one supervisor says I think we do, number two oh no we don't, line manager at CS desk oh no we don't we had a note the other day. Now if they can't be trained in 8 weeks that they do take others wys, I very much doubt they can be trained in one week that they don't. Anyhow, they then said they do take Morries and m&s but not Asda. Luckily I had a m&s in me pocket so used that and warned them if they hadn't they would have got the shopping back through the till in reverse. I was fuming, swearing and shouting. Lost the plot.....

Now I have complained to Mr Clarkes office. Surprisingly, or not, I know the CS quite well. I went in the other night the lady who was on early that morning was serving. She told me how embarrassed she was for me and how out of order the managers were. She had a word with the lady who read me the note and they kicked up a fuss for me with the two top managers. More surprisingly, they agreed my Asda wys should been taken and will be in future. Fingers crossed, won't hold me breath.....

Don't get me started on post office, number my eBay items gone AWOL so claim form into the PO. Tbh they were not worth much so if I get minimum back I be okay but anything of value I always send registered or recorded depending what level of cover I need. I usually always get proof postage but didn't on two as it was busy Christmas and they were only posted in envelope.

    X have nice day X
