  • Oh yeah, and if I get to pick a glitch can it be on Zara skinny jeans please. They make my bum look rather magnificent.:D:D:D:rotfl:

Just had a phone call from my mum. She was in John Lewis in Westfield, Stratford. Someone has been down her bag and stolen her mobile and gift vouchers she was looking forward to spending. How can people be so mean.

She said the staff were so lovely and let her use their phone to call me. Luckily we have a very easy land line to remember - didn't know my dad's mobile off by heart.

How awful and upsetting for her, hope she is ok. xxx

I don't "need" to ever buy another duvet cover again;)But no doubt I will:othat reminds me of when the towels were glitching on Direct, someone would normally shout that they were back in stock and it would be fastest finger first:rotfl::rotfl:I seem to remember Celebrate liked a towel or two;) I've still got unopened duvet sets;)

Oh I remember the towels on dot com, we got quite a few (24) hand towels in electric blue for 24p each and got a wide selection of colours delivered when I knew the store had loads of the right colour. I first had to ring to get them charged at the dot com price as they'd went through at full price, then I went into the store to change the colours from the mostly green and orange to pink and black. The guy gave me a reciept so I went back in later to exchange some of them for the bigger ones and face cloths :o

I also got the lilac ones from direct for my mum and still have a set or two in the delivery box ready for when I need new ones.

Oh Miss Laid's 4p socks, I got rather a lot of those through the SS till.

And the 1p Lindor balls/eggs, I gave bucket loads of them away, and at the same time the cadbury's mini eggs on BOGOF at 1p - I got RSI going through the SS tills :D

The 4p pyjamas saved my christmas last year.
I filled the adult stockings with them and the socks, pants etc and they are still wearing them, especially the try by day.
I gave dd2 and her OH the same,in small and x large, inspired by the couple that posed complete with baby bump....was that sunshine, what happened to her?

  • Remember the small pots of jellies and custards and the Tesco batteries, all of which gave you money off the rest of your shopping? How about the vitamins in Shoes that did the same thing? I gave my mum a load of Ricolas and now that her stash has run out she happily pays real money for them.
