H&B were the fab too, especially the bogof items, free stuff and hundreds of points

H + B was fab for all the lucky sods who had shed loads and were flogging them on eBay. That must have been very easy money for them.

The trick with the H and B was to buy Atkins Bars. Both health + beauty and vitamin vouchers worked on them, so you just bought one set of items to meet the highest wys and get shed loads of points. Even better when the Atkins Bars were on 3 4 2.

Mr T, you need to bring back the H and B vouchers, do you hear me?

    Xmas Saver!
    Evening all

I came to this glitching malarky quite late (back in the summer), I started by looking at the try me free and coupon threads, this thread was always at the the top of the thread list so I thought 'what is that all about then'.
I must admit when I fisrt started reading I wondered what all the excitement was about, and I just thought well why not just go and buy the stuff in the cheaper supermarket. Imagine the lightbulb moment I had when I realised :rotfl:(this was just as the 10p poo was finishing, in fact it finished on the day I planned my very first shop  :rotfl:)
Not complaining though, I did rather well out of the AvW Ambrosia...was nice to be able to give cereal to my mum and the local foodbank. I'm stacked out with Aussie/JF too, and was able to make up some nice xmas parcels for my nieces using it :T

I had 58 of the £1 lenor :T and a few free Ariel stain removers using the coupons from the magazine and SSM combined

Managed to get 9 boxes of the dw tabs, so not too bad (although not as good as some of the stashes on here
    ;))

Got the £5 boots, didn't get the £5 suitcase though (my order was cancelled by T's )

Couldn't get any of the cheese for love nor money. :(

Oh, can't forget the free boxes of nutrigrain biscuits from the cashpoint vouchers, managed to get about 15 boxes :)

Andrex practically fall on my head everytime I open the airing cupboard door :D

NO WAY could I leave OGIO merlot on the shelves at £1.50 a bottle, that would just be rude.

Had a couple of DTDs - the best one was TODAY when I had an email confirmation from Ts HO regarding the trouting I received at N*wport Spy**y. £24 money card on it's way to me ta v much :T

All in all very very happy, You lot are :A and flipping brilliant :T

Looking forward to lots more in 2013 :)
  • Thanks for the spreadsheet Rolypoly.

We were always being moaned at for chatting:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

some people just don't have their priorities right, after all its a well known fact that duvet covers and shoes are extremely emotive subjects that can't be brushed aside :)

On the same subject I have a manager who can be a bit surly so at christmas I played a blinder and gave her the Thorntons xmas collection...............well, she was talking about it today and said something about telling her daughter about me and wondering how much I paid for the chocs.............then she said
" I must go to the sales as I need a new duvet cover"
    WHAT???
Do people not have a great big stash of these in all types of luxury fabric, and only one, what planet does she come from????

    Yes I remember now. :D
There was a misprice thread, and a misprice chat thread in 2006, and peeps were always getting told off then for getting excited and posting chat in the misprice only section. :D

You are correct. Now there is not enough worthwhile dtd misprices to keep a misprice thread going :(. Still a good week this week. Keep looking for the SELs dated 24/12/12.;)

Spreadsheet?? It reminds me of the one we had for DTD in april 2011. I still have some items in my stock from then. Can someone point me to the Rolypoly post as I would like a copy too.

Back in the day, H&B vitamins points and keyring photo points were major contributors to holidays in the Italian Lakes, USA (x2) and China paid for entirely by Mr T. Those were the days.
