I don't "need" to ever buy another duvet cover again;)But no doubt I will:othat reminds me of when the towels were glitching on Direct, someone would normally shout that they were back in stock and it would be fastest finger first:rotfl::rotfl:I seem to remember Celebrate liked a towel or two;) I've still got unopened duvet sets;)

When I cleaned the airing cupboard before xmas i found at least 6 new quilt covers and 4 new blue Bath towels I had forgotten I had. i gave away at least 4 sets of towels to family and friends.
In August 2011 I got £840.00 worth of dtd in 10 days on Denby Dinner sets, Sabatier Knives and Phones.

I joined in the DTD days...

Wolfblass wines and a box of magnums.

I've followed ever since and enjoyed many many different glitches.

Like many on here my friends and family "Couldn't be bothered with all that' when I try to explain it to them.

My favourite would have to be the 4p socks.

Crikey I hit that one hard and with military precision at the self scan tills.

Scanning them through the self serve tills as fast as possible.

Thank you and happy new year to you all.

I was so happy when I found those socks as it made me feel like I had given something back rather than just continually taking :)

I managed to get out today to return a few excess Xmas gifts I'd bought DS but he told me days before that he wasn't interested in anymore
Most of my returns were easy but the SADA one wasn't, I'd used 2 APGs to pay for almost £18 of a £40 spend so fully expected to get the £18 on a gift card (never done this before but know a few on here have got this). SA phoned boss to see what way it worked with the APG and was told that I'd loose that money if I wanted to return the PS3 games
I said I should at least get what I paid in cash and boss told her yes I would but wouldn't get anything for the APG money, I told her I'd return one and get the £20 for it then keep the other to give to someone instead of the store getting even more money for it if they sold it again.

Need to contact asda house to see what they say, DS was very upset over not even being allowed to choose a different game or toy :(

  • I started a spreadsheet in January of this year, listing all my shopping. I am pleased to say that i have managed to keep it up and have been pleasently suprised by the totals. I have listed all coupons i have used, if i have recieved DTD on anything as well as working out what my total spends have been each month.

I have found it to be a real eye opener and i have a new one ready for january the 1st!

If anyone would like to see what i ha=ve done i am happy to email you a copy of it!

So sorry Rolo-Polo 1965 for getting your name wrong

Oh Miss Laid's 4p socks, I got rather a lot of those through the SS till.

And the 1p Lindor balls/eggs, I gave bucket loads of them away, and at the same time the cadbury's mini eggs on BOGOF at 1p - I got RSI going through the SS tills :D

  • Ahhhh look at you lot getting all soppy and reminiscent. :D I'm not jealous of all you stories, not one little bit:p lol, I missed so much but have also done really well out of the glitches that i did do.
What I love the most though is my new little family on here. The love, support and kindness that people show one another is touching, refreshing and really quite wonderful.
Long may the glitches continue and long may we sit and chat complete rubbish with one another. :T:T

Just had a phone call from my mum. She was in John Lewis in Westfield, Stratford. Someone has been down her bag and stolen her mobile and gift vouchers she was looking forward to spending. How can people be so mean.

She said the staff were so lovely and let her use their phone to call me. Luckily we have a very easy land line to remember - didn't know my dad's mobile off by heart.

I hope your mum is ok doodums
