I nearly got trouted in Ts this afternoon by Mrs old bat McTrout, from Troutsville. If you put her in a line up of 100 suspected trouts and TiTs, she would be in your top three to avoid at all costs. Unfortunately, you can't pick and choose when you are in a hurry and you want to claim your dtd at the cs desk.
This lovely lady (of a certain age with a face that looked as if it had been smacked with a wet kipper several times) tried so hard not to give me dtd (using all the usual tricks, including talking in code to a colleague, different barcode, different model no etc, etc) that it actually ended up making me lol, which I don't think she found amusing.:rotfl::rotfl:.
I got a free Panasonic KX-TG5521 single phone, paid £80 at the till, ood sel for £40 half price.
The whole experience made me realise why I [STRIKE]hate[/STRIKE] love Ts so much and how much enjoyment I get from getting one over on them.
Ts are masters of playing mind games with shoppers, constantly changing their prices up and down, half price, bogof, bog2f, bogohp, 3 for 2 etc, etc. The phone that I got is currently on sale in Ts stores for £80!! I assume this is for 10 weeks of the year so they can offer it at a huge discount of £40 for the other 42 weeks of the year!! The same model can be bought right now, online in more than one place for less than £25..:o.0 -
