Remember the H&B well, it was an absolute cracker and paid for a couple of holidays in Majorca. Bought loads of wet wipes and shed loads of Lynx and Plax which I sold on at a slight loss but gained a ridiculous number of CC points.

I also seem to remember that when I first started this MSE mullarky you could get 1500 extra CC points (worth £60 off a holiday) when you spent £50 online on wine.:D

Have to admit, I started on PTS but soon moved across to MSE which seemed to get the glitches more quickly. Don't regret that decision one bit!!:):)

Yep. We had a family of 5 holiday all inc for free. Still have some 'stock' but not much. Was my first glitch and came across it acidentally way before i discovered mse. Also got me in trouble with security and police! Tesco staff thought i had stolen cards! Dip sticks.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

I may be wrong but I thought the origins were the old R&R days, and the long ago time when you could use any coupons to pay for all of your shopping in T's, as long as T stocked the product the coupon was for. :D
We had the Xbox R&R, and loads of meat, chocolate, Xmas stuff, phones, and I got a telly on R&R. :j
Then there was the online points stacking codes used in conjunction with money off spend stacking codes. You could amass thousands of cc points in a quarter for spending very little. We had flights, holidays etc on the strength of that. Some people even got a new car out of it! I was here then under another user name in 2004ish. Happy days:j:beer::D

No the Elite definately evolved from DTD;)It was from Czerchy,Karlie,Celebrate, me and a few others (my memory is horrendous:o)We'd all got to "know" each other through DTD and stayed together after DTD on the misprice thread, but some people were complaining that their was too much chat:(So one afternoon we decided to start an Elite thread and expire it straight away so as we could go onto the gone board and no one could complain about the chatting;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: ( I think it was Czerchy who originally started the first one:cool:) It was about Oct/Nov 2011;)And I think it was Caz2703 who wrote the bit thats always quoted on the first post about this thread is for chatting, etc,etc...
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

The old R&R thread was gone before the dtd comparing prices glitch came along. Disney toothbrushes fondly remembered. 'Yes get a toothbrush and then we can £4 of normal food too' ROFL.:T

I used the GC at the same time as buying them - we had a printer ink crisis and they were the only store with stock. Combined it with a b2g1f deal on ink.

Check the expiry date on the Smiths cards, I thought they were only 6 months, but happy to be corrected.

In the beginning few days when the glitch very first started the dates were like ordinary GC, which I think were 2 years. It was only a few days later they sussed it and gave out the 6 month ones:(

There was a misprice thread, and a misprice chat thread in 2006, and peeps were always getting told off then for getting excited and posting chat in the misprice only section. :D

Wow. You go girl. Well done. You brave little thing you :D

Well done to you too. So happy for you. Roughly how many magazines have you flicked through? I can't find any at all with the big prizes.

May I just ask what the Mr T dairy coupon is and where you lovelies get it from? Many thanks.

I must have flicked through hundreds now. my sis got the 1st 2 in her local village shop, i got one at Bristol Airport picking up my sister, she got one in Asda, then I got 2 in WH Smiths in Broadmead Bristol and the last one in Asda Whitchurch. Keep Looking. The mr T dairy coupon was from the Tesco Real Food mag with as pavlova on the front. Unfortunately mags seem to be all gone and voucher runs out on 30.12.12.
BTW did i already say I got an Apple MacBook Pro for Xmas. Was a gift from my sister as I did a lot of work for her on the Queens Diamond Jubilee concert that she catered for. And I love it. Lovely to see someone else from the old Boots Thread on here.
