I may be wrong but I thought the origins were the old R&R days, and the long ago time when you could use any coupons to pay for all of your shopping in T's, as long as T stocked the product the coupon was for. :D
We had the Xbox R&R, and loads of meat, chocolate, Xmas stuff, phones, and I got a telly on R&R. :j
Then there was the online points stacking codes used in conjunction with money off spend stacking codes. You could amass thousands of cc points in a quarter for spending very little. We had flights, holidays etc on the strength of that. Some people even got a new car out of it! I was here then under another user name in 2004ish. Happy days:j:beer::D

Come on then who were in your previous existence? Were you on here and PTS or even LPF if you are a real oldie, lol?

I loved the OEP glitch, I put out 2 dishes of salsa (hot & mild) when we had friends round just before Xmas, I still have at least 40 jars of salsa plus lots of the stir-in sauces and I am still eating the wraps even though they have a May date :D my small store just kept restocking I think I had 90% of it plus the glitch kept working long after other stores.

And I think the one glitch that deserves a mention of its own was the WHSmiths glitch. The one where you got a £15 GC for £10 everytime you bought a card.I've got enough greetings cards for years:beer:And bought DS enough stationary for years with the GC's

I used the GC at the same time as buying them - we had a printer ink crisis and they were the only store with stock. Combined it with a b2g1f deal on ink.

Check the expiry date on the Smiths cards, I thought they were only 6 months, but happy to be corrected.

I got enough to buy my mum a kindle for free. Gave her mothers day!

The trouble i find with this glitching malachy and dtd is that it causes a bit of sibbling rivalry. My sis gets pretty peeved at the presents we give, especially to mum and dad. Trouble is, i tell her about them all but she never bothers. I did Ok with asda mess up but am down to last few boxes of cereal and cereal bars. Think kids are fed up with them though. Anyway, mum came with me and got the gist. She mainly got iams as she has a few cats. At my sisters house the other day and she pipes up that she will be popping to mums for iams as she has run out. Ended in an argument as she didnt bother but keeps taking. As you know, the stashes dont last forever!! Grrrr
