Should have gone to Sada on Xmas Eve when they were dropping the turkey prices by 50% at about lunch time and then by 80% at about 4pm. Mind you, you would have had to prep the bird and all that, so maybe not such a good idea.

But well done you. I still have 3 apg's lying around. No idea what to use them on save milk and bread as we are fully loaded with cereals and chocolates and stuff. :D

I wasn't going anywhere near Asda after my midnight trip. My local Asda has a "massive" shopping centre built around it. I learned the hard way that the best thing to do at Christmas is avoid unless its during the wee small hours  in fact, weekends and evenings throughout the whole of December is avoid-ville

And I think the one glitch that deserves a mention of its own was the WHSmiths glitch. The one where you got a £15 GC for £10 everytime you bought a card.I've got enough greetings cards for years And bought DS enough stationary for years with the GC's

I was too late for that one, but go girl, glad you got some (or loads should that be?) :D

    Pardon my manners :o

    Good afternoon Elite :hello:

(((hugs))) to all that are in need and to those that just want one x

A quiet day here, not been out for days :rotfl: no rain here at the moment but rather cloudy.

bubbs I hope you and yours are ok and still at home, no drastic downpours to make you leave your home over the festive season

tweets how are you doing today? Have you mastered your kindle yet? I've been reading on mine today, no going online as battery will run out faster  it takes ages to charge through the comp but I'm hoping to get a plug in charger tomorrow. DS4 of course may have a phone charger that would work, I'll be asking him later when he comes home :D

Will need to catch up a little more me thinks
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Hey peeps. The Breaded Ham that was going for £2 in Morrisons just before xmas.....Is it pre cooked ? Do you need to "do" anything too it ? Im thinking about eating it very soon lol.
  • Just been to Tesco to try the Flora margarine that are buy one get one free at £3 for 2. Bought four for £6 and used the diary coupon. 4kg of margarine for £3.

Might be of use to some-one.
