This is like my mum, she got me a box of milk tray and I had already told her about the glitch and she still went out and paid full price. Some people!!!!!

Mother of god - I'd have cried if anyone had given me MT  as that's the one we had the most of being the first of the glitches. Everyone I know got a box for Christmas and I've kept the rest for pressies during the year (or at least until end August) :rotfl:

This rings such a bell with me I had to reply. I too have these episodes locked away in a dark corner as I blame myself for not doing more and for insisting that she went into hospital in the first place (not that there was another option). I honestly feel that it isn't so much her passing that is still affecting me but the way it happened. I can't even face going to the crematorium where her ashes are buried as I feel I failed her. I know people think you embelllish, exaggerate, add bits on when you retell bad experiences but I can honestly say I don't need to, it was beyond neglect the treatment that my mum got, I tried contacting patient services etc and got nowhere. No point now as we can't bring her back.

I know just how you feel, (((FloFlo))). I often drive myself crazy wondering if I could have done more for Dad. I am convinced I could have, but I don't know what exactly. He was let down very badly by the hospital & deserved so much more. I really need to stop myself having these thoughts, but it isn't easy to let go of them.

(((DavidF)))...sorry to hear you have had a similar experience too :(

HopePray, so sorry to hear your news. I hope everyone makes a speedy recovery. x
