The OH has redeemed himself by sitting down with me and my lovely new O.Mum calendar and writing down a meal plan for the week. We know exactly what we're having and what we need to get from the SM & farmers market tomorrow. All homemade dinners and the shopping list is all made up too. He's even finally managed to get round to filling up the little envelopes with money for the week :D although he now says it's FAR too organised and is annoyed that there a few odd amounts (a £9 and a £18) which means he needs to find some change from somewhere...hmmm...

Gotta agree with your OH about the change Kerri. The order of the world would be much more to my liking if coins did not exist. :D:D

I think I may well be developing a form of number OCD. I was looking at my total this morning and was getting a bit annoyed that it wasn't an even number, without pence at the end :rotfl::rotfl:

    Well done on the budgeting

I am a bit like this too, I like to pay the odd pennies out to tidy up my bank account but then get cross that the CC balance is in odd pennies :rotfl::rotfl:

I have done first week's meal plan & shopping. Was a bit more than a usual week cos we had run all cupboards, fridge & freezer down :D

Started writing down all expenses again - it all went a bit overlooked for Xmas weeks  So all new debt busting resolutions are in place. Bring it on :money:

I'm so relieved that we can finally start paying his bits off :T we want his DMP GONE by the summer !!! Not sure what course of action we're going to take yet, probably start with the smaller ones and offer F&F settlements.

I'm not sure which order to hit the debts if I'm honest, cos I'm not sure what interest rates some of them have! I'm inclined to clear OH's first because of the DMP ...

e: might add that a payment for £76 came out today for the store card so that means we have paid £127 / £4,400 ! Small dents ...

Same here, definitely need to start recording expenses!

We did a shop this week to top up the cupboards with bits and pieces, we are on target at £50 :j and I actually have an idea of what food we'll be eating this week! Normally it's 'whatever is in the cupboard'!
