My new clothes have arrived, none of the tops fit :( They're all too big and I got them a size smaller than I would have thought I needed!!! Ridiculous.

Have started to make in-roads on the savings though :) will do an end-of-the-month sweep each month to keep track of how well I'm doing :D

Thank you :) it's a very weird feeling. But I also don't want to go and spend all my money, which is also really weird as I normally want to get rid of it all...

  • Hi all! I've been away for months and months, good to see the roll of honour has grown so long. Congratulations Kerri! In the money AND down a couple of dress sizes, huh?

I clearly need this forum to keep me honest, because ever since I hit the original goal all of my good habits have gone out of the window. Entirely thanks to DH picking up a bunch of overtime, we've whittled the debt a little bit, but it's a bit disgraceful given how long the time period is. And we might be buying a new house, so I have to get serious roughly yesterday.

    Anyway:

aemchairexpert - do you have a DFW diary? I found the support invaluable with helping me change my attitude towards money. I'm still the same physical size, but they've changed all the dress sizes down 1-2 sizes which sizes smaller ladies out of the shops! Least I can't go on mad shopping binges though as I have to order online now :)
