32b3 i was the same haha. although i technically still have two debts! i might aim to pay one of them off next year, the other is my HP so i sort of need to consider 'the end plan' haha.

Done some sums and we are back at £1250 so hopefully next month we will add to it! O/H started work at 6 this morning, and I'm off to Cheltenham for the day with work so I got up at 5.30 :(
  • Hello All, just a quick update from me before I head out to yet another day at work. My current total stands at:-

    £12,984.70/£16,500

Going to write to NR to ask for a full and final settlement figure for a loan that I have with them and will pay off this month, then going to throw some money at one of my other loans as hoping to pay that off by the end of next month. Which will only leave 2 remaining loans and a credit card (it's interest free which is why I am not paying that first). I actually think I could be debt free by the end of the year or early 2014!!

Never thought I'd say that at this point, will keep you posted with how I get on. Congratulations to all who have become debt free so far and keep up the good work everyone else. :T
Paid off £16,715/£16,550 by Christmas 2013
Now to pay off all remaining debts by Christmas 2014
    Total to pay #041 £7,086.97/£16,500
    Only £9,413.03 to go

I sold a pair of shoes on ebay so I have made the first payment on debt 2.

    £12.00 / £7538.00 = 0.16%

Not sure if there will be many more payments until the end of the month, as ebay now base their final value fee on sale price AND postage so its getting a waste of time to sell things on there now.

32b, think after you have sorted out your mum's debt, you can then become the chancellor of the exchequer and sort out the nations debt, since you have done so well on your own debt and now have got crackin on your mums debt.x

That looks really yummy. My favourite was lentil soup made with lentils I bought on offer - 15p a portion! I also get krisprolls, which you can crumble up and use as croutons.

I have downloaded JamieO's money saving meals for my train journey tomorrow night. I'm looking forward to seeing if his version of 'budget' is my idea of budget.
