I'm waiting for the Boots christmas shop to open - 3 for 2s - yes please! Although we did a lot of ours at Morrisons last year cos it had all the stuff people wanted!

I'm trying to get it out of the way early so we can minimise disruption to saving haha.
  • Hi

Very slowly clearing my debt, i'm now at £1135.96 - no. 180.

Hope you're debts are clearing away nicely too :).
  • I don't like when payday is a Friday. My allowance won't won't get across to the right account until Monday! Have spent a fortune today, and sadly had to bring out the credit card to make sure I won't go overdrawn. I will be returning a couple of items as soon as I can get a second opinion from my housemate (bought the same thing in two colours and need to ask which is more suitable).

OK Amr57 this is the easiest curry recipe I know and its super yummy. It is actually a JamieO one :-)
    Ingredients (for 4-6ppl):
    2 onions
    I med. butternut squash
    1 sml cauliflower
1 red chilli (if you like it spicy)
    4 cloves garlic
    bunch of corriander
1/2 jar of pataks rogan josh paste
    1 400g tin of chickpeas
    100g of baby spinach
1x500g tub of natural yoghurt (for serving, although I sometimes stir it in)

For your rice you boil it with a few cloves in the water for flavour :)

-slice onions and fry slowly with a splash of water and some oil
-cut butternut squash in half and use neck bit (save the rest for something else) cube the squash and you can leave the skin on if you want.
-cut cauliflower into bitesized chunks and add to the pan with the squash
-if ur using chilli slice it up and add it now
crush in the garlic and finely chop about 2/3rds of the corriander (stalks and leaves) and add both to pan.
-Add a copule've spashing of water if you need to
-Add the paste and the chickpeas with their juice and season to taste
-Give it a good stir, stick the lid on the pan and cook it quite hot so it it always bubbling.
-You want to cook it for about 15mins adding more splashing of water if it gets too dry, you want the sauce to be quite thick. Yopu can mash up some of the veg to thicken the suace. add the spinach about 2mins before cooking ends and serve with the yoghurt :)

I hope you like it :D
