update on the boiler fiasco...
2nd opinion says yes, the tank needs replacing. the plumbing also needs to be replaced or sorted as theres a blockage. there's something wrong with the fireplace and the radiators need bleeding. the outside pipes need replacing as they have been bodged. all in all they recommend a new system as it will be cheaper because if you replace the tank and pipes and not the boiler it may create problems and stop working. so, we are just waiting now.....0 -

Well it's official - I've been working for 2 years now! I should be getting a nice promotion to go with that (basically losing the 'graduate' part of my title), but conveniently it seems head office has either not read, or have been ignoring my line manager's recommendation (probably because it means a pay rise). I don't know whether to chase the promotion or not, as I want to jump ships soon anyway, but it would be nice to have the new job title on my CV.0

Hi Mini Cooper
I would chase for the promotion, and then bide your time a it more.
When you jump ship, you should then get a bit more as well as your not new to that role anymore
Good luck

Not yet.
The time for celebrations, will be this time next year, when I've paid my Road Tax, Car and Contents Insurance, MOT and servicing, and taken a holiday, all paid for with cash. :cool:0
