You are doing well to. You are getting close. I like seeing other people paying off their debt as it gives me hope that I will too someday!!
Hudson1984 spag Bol will be around soon to give you a number but well done on paying off such a big chunk already. Keep it going.
Nothing yet for me. Just been paid but I need 5minutes peace and quiet to sort money out and with the kids running around I might not have chance to do a money shuffle til this evening. Needless to say I will be bak with an update when I do though.
Happy payday to all those who have to wait til the end of the month tooGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
That's another £220 paid.
If nothing unplanned happens (fingers and toes crossed), I could make DFD in July, instead of August.0 -
amr - your tale of your bunny reminded me of the time we took one of our cats to be neutered. We'd only recently got him from a friend and he'd just started to venture out from the bed he'd been hiding under for a month so we took him to be done only to find out he'd been done already despite my friend insisting she'd had him since he was a kitten and she'd never had him done - so embarassed especially when the vet got a second opinion from the other vet!0

Hi folks. Sorry I'm late! I've only just discovered this thread, but it struck a chord with me.
I've been getting to grips with my debts for the past couple of years, becoming a skilled card tart in the processThis year, I've made an extra effort to try and get all my credit cards paid off by Xmas - although I now think it will be January 2014 (due to unforseen expenses). That's still good though, and just being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel has made me more determined to reach my goal.
It's nice to see so many people with the same aim. Keep at it, guys. We can do this! :cheesy:Champion Cheapskate0 -
Hi all Not updated for a while but have been lurking. Glad to see some serious debt busting has been going on and congratulations to those who have become debt free since I last posted.I applied for a 0% cc with nationwide and BT £1490 on it until 1/11/2014. I have £715 left on mbna card at 0% until 28/8/13 I am desperate to pay this off before rate runs out as really don't want to do anymore BT EVER!!!! I'm not sure how to pay the nationwide cc debating whether to pay into savings account and effectively stooze money and just pay off when rate pays out or do I pay off before rate runs out then i can be debt free at last. Must think on this one. Anyway my new totals are showing that I'm just half way there.

Not posted for a few days, but I have been reading daily. Pleased to see the payments rolling in for pay day, getting really excited about how close people are getting to their DFD! And sorry to hear about the set back spag, but as others have said, at least you've just gone back a bit, instead of adding to that original total!
It's the last day of the month, which is normally the day I pay anything left in my account into my savings, but I spend everything I have left on some counselling instead. Will have an update tomorrow when I get paid, though not as big an update as usual!0 -
