My snowball calculator says we should be debt free in 23 months so that'll be good for Christmas 2014 :T
I'd like to think we can be DF in June 2014 though!:j
My snowball says 12 months. So hopefully this year. I am sure it said March 2014 a while ago. Hmmm, wonder what has changed :mad:SPC9 #125 - £816.85

Happy New year and welcome to you Jubilee! This thread is such a nice one, enjoy!
Hi Guys,
Thank you SO much for all the good wishes, I am super excited to be engaged, its lovely!! :j
Right bit of advice please, for the first time in FOREVER I have money left this month after payday. I have paid rent, bills (which includes big overpayments to ccards) and all expenses for so far. Usually when I have done this I have about £40 left for the month  ... This month I have £150, this is after leaving about £50 in the account for living expenses this month and as a bit of a buffer. So......what shall I do with it. Yes I want to make an overpayment, just not sure which debt to do it with? Shall I pay off one of my storecards (this will leave me with £50 to pay off something else) as this will mean 1 debt less and will feel quite nice. OR do I apy the whole lot off one of my bigger debts? What do you think? Votes please...:D
And yes Spagbol, multiquote only works 3 at a time. So you click on the multiquote button for two and then on the quote button on the last person which gives you your three quotes, saying that I thought I had it for 3 on this post and one of mine has dissappeared, dratt!Don't turn a slip up into a give up

Hello
Could I join you lovely people on the challenge this year?
I have a total of £18,094 to clear this year. This will settle our secured loan, pay a random £209 we owe on our car and some arrears to the electric/gas of approximately 11 payments of £35. I will be saving the money to pay of the secured and HP in our ISAs as it costs so much to make an overpayment in fees and will just keep paying the arrears each month.
I have transferred the balance of our PPI payout from the week before Christmas and the money we would have spent last night but our meal out was cancelled into my ISA and will post the figure when I have been issued with a number.
Happy new year to you all and good luck with your individual targets:)
Here you are Xspender, my missing quoteJust wanted to say welcome and good luck with all your debt busting!!

I was extremely naughty at Waitr0se today
they had all their christmas chocolates reduced and I kind of ended up buying 9 x Large tubes of pink smarties (34p each), 4 x large tubes white buttons(34p each), 6 bags chocolate santas (25p each), a bag of L*ndt balls (50p) and what must be 30 odd aer0 trees/gal*xy presents and Qual*ty street purples (16p each)
In my defence the bags of santas and some of the tubes are for Miss Lilys birthday party bags in 2 weeks as with approx 32 kids coming it was the cheapest way to choc up the bags . . . and all the trees/gal*xy are for my *shop* for when the kids run out of christmas stuff. . . . everything else . . . . . umm . . . . well . . . . *ahem* moving along . . . . :rotfl:
Noooooooooooooooooooo....take me to waitrose....I want choccy choc choc! :rotfl: Good bargain hunting JM, when are you coming round to fleabay my stuff by the way? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Don't turn a slip up into a give up
