    Well I got the caretaker to take our meter reading today and we're 4000+ out from what the estimated says it should be eep! Not happy with that so have called OH and told him under no circumstances is he to turn the heating on until winter. Thank goodness he starts his job in two weeks time as it'll mean less electricity being used during the day. I tend to sit in bed and work under the duvet, whereas he has the heating on full blast.

    Just paid another £50 off the OD, but I have used the CC so my total isn't as shiny as it should be :( it was for our holiday which OH is going to pay me back for half of everything for so I'm keeping all receipts.

    Some good news though, my old manager has just had his contract through to come and work with us so I've got £2k coming my way as a referral fee less tax of course, but when you throw that at the credit card it's going to be a nice sum indeed.

    Did a craft fair yesterday and took about £60 although my sister then spent about £20 of that on lunch and cake :( I never buy anything at craft fairs I'm working because I know it eats into the profit and paying £5 for 4 cakes is ridiculous, you could even tell they were made last night as they were a bit stale :( oh well we did have a nice time. Website made sales over the weekend too of about £80 between it and fleabay shop. Little business is doing well yay. Have been too tired to post parcels today or to unpack the car so that's tomorrow mornings task. Oddly the account with the business money in now has more in it than my own current account, fancy that. I'm waiting until I have £1000 sat in there before I start to pay myself back. The way things are going that should only be a few months time. I'm really enjoying the little business too which is great, although I know it's never going to really be enough to live off it's enough to keep me entertained and paying for itself.

    Had to send some car parts back today, £10 for postage BUT luckily I won some pre-paid postage with a parcel company last year so I didn't have to pay anything:j how :money: of me!

    Hello to anyone who remembers me from here last year. Great to hear that you are all doing so well! Congrats to Kerfuffle...you are so near the DF goal now! Double congrats to Kerri on the launch of the business - wow what an achievement! Triple congrats to Spag Bol on her latest creation...what lovely news!
    I am still on mat leave and my baby boy is just gorgeous! He started a couple of spoons of baby rice yesterday - it goes everywhere but his mouth! I have JUST started the lower end of the Mat Pay and boy, we are really feeling the pinch now. Mebbe I could head the N American office for Kerri's business??? To everyone else (anyone heard from Jemma?) I send my love xxx :j:j:j:j:j

    Ooh you are on the right side of the pond for the good prices for fabric, import duty to ship it over here is terrible unless you know someone over in the States or Canada to send it as a gift ;) hehehe

    Glad you are enjoying your little boy, I had been wondering how you were getting on. Lovely to hear from you xxx

    Hey everyone :wave::wave::wave:

    Sorry I've been gone so long... :o So much has happened and my head just hasn't been in the right place to be honest...

    Good news is that my beautiful niece was born the day after my birthday :j:j:j Can't believe she's now 13 weeks!!! My older sister is 21 weeks pregnant and has just found out she is to have a girl too :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T Due on Sep 22nd!

    I'm still living with my parents but am saving up for a house deposit. It's going a bit slow though as I made a decision to live my life. This year is my year of adventures. I am going to Howarth for the 1940's weekend this weekend, I'm off to London twice in June, then a week at the end of June in the Lakes with my grandma again, then off to Stratford in July, Keswick in August and finishing with Center Parcs in September!!! It seems a lot but I did so well paying off my debt last year that I wanted to have fun and see the country!

    In other news, today I handed my notice in... I'm going to join the family business as a Director on the same pay as I'm on now with the potential to earn a lot going forward. For once I'm going to work hard for myself and my family. It feels good but it's been emotional today. Telling my boss was incredibly hard as we're really close and have worked together for over 5 yrs. I'm still crying now :cry: It's the right decision though as I've not been happy where I work for months now. The only thing that has been keeping me there is my friends but I can see them outside work so I'm trying to be positive.

    I hope you're all well. I have really missed you all :A:A:A xxx
