oh, where do you guys trade in your phones??? i have blackberry 9900 to get rid of now i've upgraded!
I traded my last phone in with Tesco. I could either get £47 cash paid into my bank or clubcard vouchers. I opted for clubcard vouchers, as this meant when I tripled them they were worth £141. I always use my vouchers on rewards, so this was the best option for me.
Hope this helps :j0 -

Exactly - and it's all a step in the right direction! Well done!slightly annoyed atm, OH is getting on my nerves and i feel like packing it all in and going back to mum's house.
Sorry to hear your having a tiff, hope everything sorts itself out!I had a windfall yesterday, and the best way I can think of to make use of it is to chuck it at this debt and have it gone. So new stats are:
#24 13633.33 / 14300.00 = 95%
Hope you all have a good weekend, for those that haven't got off to a very good start, I hope it gets better.
Congratulations on the windfall - you're getting so close!
I recovered enough to get dressed today and go buy painkillers and some microwave meals. A really exciting Saturday then...0 -

Yes, I was such an advocate for separate bedrooms with my OH. It really does help, and was especially important when we were studying. Even though we're just working now, I'm not living in anything less than a 2 bed flat, just in case he takes up snoring.0 -
minicooper I hope your neck is better!
Kerfuffle fab news on the windfall and getting to 95per% :T:Trecurrent-ostrich wrote: »Update from me:

Not cleared as much as I'd hoped, but it's been a hideous couple of months, everything seems to cost so much more than last year. Still, holiday is paid for now, so that helps with our monthly budget. And on the upside, I've nearly lost 2.5 stone now since Xmas! :j
Fab news on the money :T I have similar totals to you and am feeling a bit disheartened too this year, last year we did much better! WE are still heading in the right direction though, well done to you :Tslightly annoyed atm, OH is getting on my nerves and i feel like packing it all in and going back to mum's house.
I've felt like this for about 10 years:rotfl: Hope he stops being annoying soon!

Hello my lovelies, sorry I went awol again yesterday, lots going on with home improvements and sorting out the garden starting to prepare for the arrival of baby in November.
This month has been dire MSE-wise, yesterday we had to BT to our bank account as we were going to be £200 short and it isn't payday for another 2 weeks :mad::( I have a horrible feeling our car is about to die too, it is 10 years old and has done >100k miles and now the steering squeaking when you turn left. To be fair we could do with a 7 seater once baby is here and you can pick up a zafira or grand scenic quite cheap (2 or 3k) so after PX would be about £1.5k but we haven't got that!! And we go on holiday in a month and as yet have NO spending money saved up :eek::eek:
I can't wait for DH to start his new job!!DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
sounds like a nightmare spagbol!!!! we are gonna be short, but just gonna eat out of the freezer this week and next, oh gets paid a week on tues and hopefully i'll get paid a week on fri, my payday is on bank hol you see.. so not sure if itll be friday or tuesday i get paid!0

spag sorry to hear it's been a tight month! when does the OH start his new job?
My neck is still very sore today - I might need to stay off work tomorrow, but I've asked a colleague for a lift anyway, as if I do go, I won't be able to drive.
My OH just called to say a friend is selling an old abandoned sub station with planning permission to convert to a house. He's really excited about it, and really wants to do a Grand Designs on the place... I warned him about the possible problems, delays and expense, and he's annoyed at me for trying to ruin his dream :rotfl: He'll get over it soon enough!0 -
hello everyone. good to see we are all still on our journey. we will do this thing.
I get paid Friday and im determined that this months wage packet will count for something. I have been really frugal this month and still have a couple of bits to return to cc which will also help.
have a good week everyone x0
